It was saturday night and we were in delhi so around 12 pm we were feeling hungry so i thought to visit this place. One of my friend Richa matlani told me about this place couple of days back .
She told me that this place is so peaceful and this place is dedicated to our India's first superstart Mr Rajesh khanna sahab.
We reached to this food van which was in delhi embassy area so my first thoughts were like first time i seen a first fan at embassy area so must be there is something special in it.
Atmosphere around it was completely all about Superstar Rajesh khanna.You will see a big screen where they only play Rajesh khanna songs no other song is allowed there.All the staff members were wearing clothes dedicated to Rajesh khanna.
Walls of the food van was full of rajesh khanna photos and most of the photos was with his best friend Mr Vipin Oberoi.
Mr Oberoi is the owner here and he is keeping Rajesh khanna alive with such a theme all around.He is the best friend of Rajesh khanna and he calls himself his best friend and his big fan as well.Mr oberoi told us that Mr rajesh khanna asked him to open this food van here 30 years back and he supported him so well.
They both share relationship like a single family and once anybody comes here and watch all the pictures here of Rajesh khanna and Mr vipin oberoi you will come to know how close their bond was.
Vipin ji shared alot of stories about their frienships and following rajesh khanna there are alot of celebrities visit this food van just to see how this man is keeping rajesh khanna alive.
Mr Vipin Oberoi told us that stars like Salman khan,Sushmita sen,Akshay kumar,Shatrugan sinha and ajay devgun visit this place.He shared an emotional memory of his visit to haridwar to rinki khanna and dimple kabadia with the ashes of rajesh khanna after he was no more.
We did alot of amazing talks and Vipin oberoi is a classic example of a great friend and fan.We asked him to serve us the same food what Mr Rajesh khanna used to have at this place so they served us his favourties Chilly mushrooms,paneer aloo chaat,tandoori veg kababs and chilly paneer.
Food was good a bit spicy and it is enjoyable one with tea in winters especially.See food was good i will rank it 7/10.You must come at try it once.I will not say that it was so excellent that i have never tried such but it had decent taste and they served it very quicky.
Price was at higher side in my opinion but again i am saying place is a must visit because of the atmosphere and peace around and if you are a fan of Rajesh khanna never ever miss it.Aleast you should come here once.
Meeting with Mr oberoi was very memorable.
Hats off to such friend who shows a great example of great fan and a great friend.
Timings of this place is 2 Pm to 2 AM.
One of the most peaceful and positive place at delhi specially for night lovers.
