I love making queso, what I do instead of sausage however is to use whatever leftover bbq meat I have vacuum sealed and frozen. Usually pulled pork or brisket.
Love the fun interaction together. I'll have to try to make this and "ketofy" it for us. I've done queso with heavy whipping cream but need to check the carbs on Velveeta. Thanks Todd & Susie.
Love you guys! I always enjoy watching your videos. Also, Susie we just watched your Food Network show, wonderful!!! Hope you get a food network show soon!
this is one of my favorite dishes. I just smoke it in the ceramic bowl out of one of my crock pots so I can just pop it in and keep it warm. love your videos keep it up thanks Todd 👍
That looks & sounds great. I made your WHISKEY PEACH BBQ SAUCE last weekend, IT'S WONDERFUL. Thank you for that recipe. Thank you for adding your SWEET RUB recipe. Now i will have to order IT and your FIESTA RUB. THANK YOU !!!!
TYSVM for the spice recipe. My woe is Carnivore so the only carbs I get is from spices, no sugars. It is really hard to find great spice recipes that do not contain sugars. Hubby and I will be making a batch to have on-hand today.
With all that goodness in there I can't imagine it not being fantastic!!! What type of mic do you use? I don't see any on either of you, but it picks both of your voices nicely. Thanks!
I made this last week for our Friendsgiving Nacho Bar! I used Kroger branded Chorizo made with premium pork, black beans and added quiet a bit of milk to get a more sauce like consistency (maybe even 2 cups worth). It was a hit at the party! Thanks for sharing and do more surprise basket of ingredients shows, it was great seeing you two work together more! ❤️
Very very nice guys. Cream would be best, and milk would work for thinning, but you could also just add some Jack Cheese, or for all of the spicy nuts, "Jalapeno Jack" which would add some really nice melt, but not thin too much. Some sour cream would be awesome too. Again, nice job with this one.
Great recipe! Making it today. Where did you get your elevated rack? It looks to be just the perfect height. Been looking for just such a rack but cant find one like it, everything is too short or too tall for my liking. Thanks!
Super fun concept; Todd buys food, Susie coos what Todd want to eat! Haha! Looks delicious guys. I love all of your vids, but this series is pretty fun.
I like the idea for this series, I'm intrigued by Todd's ideas and how you pull them together. Edit: After seeing that you have no control over the purchased ingredients.... maybe have a couple audibles to adjust.
I like a bit more sw flavor. Also not a fan of green bells. Instead I roast pablano peppers and add. You can also add a can of cream of mushrooms soup to thin it out some. Preferably low sodium since Velveeta is loaded with it.
Todd: oh you are asking for help ummm... I am busy with the camera that is sitting on that tripod. Todd: ohh the food is done the camera is just fine on this tripod.
Is it really a mystery bag if you have all the ingredients you need to make the meal I thought a mystery bag was a bunch of different items that don’t consist of a meal but you have to try to make a meal out of what you got.
I'm going definitely make this the thing that I understand over here in the south they call melted cheese dip Queso but Queso is spanish for cheese melted cheese is queso deritido
Try using a can of cream of chicken, It thins it out just a little. I made it to thick one time and a friend told me to do the can of cream of chicken and that's the only way I do it now.
Apology or not, there was way too much whining and complaining on your part to make this stuff for your man. It’s irrelevant whether you like it or not, he does and that should be enough. And, in the future, ya might wanna rein in the the snarky comments and shitty looks …. it shows a serious lack of respect for your husband. If there are videos of him doing that to you, by all means , post them so I can bust his chops too, but I got a funny feeling you’re gonna have a hard time finding them.
Guys since y'all are not from Texas I will give you a pass on the Queso. The correct cheese to use in authentic Chili con queso is American block cheese, I will post all ingredients below: Here’s a list of what you need: American cheese Whole Milk Canned green chilies Garlic Garlic Salt Onion Tomatoes Place cheese and milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until cheese is melted and blended. Add chilies with liquid, garlic, garlic salt, and onion. Cook and stir until onions are transparent. Remove from heat and add tomatoes before serving. You're welcome, you know how to properly make Chili con queso =)
Enjoyed watching the two of you interact. Great video!
I love making queso, what I do instead of sausage however is to use whatever leftover bbq meat I have vacuum sealed and frozen. Usually pulled pork or brisket.
I like when Todd picks what Sussie cooks.
Makes for a fun video
Same.
Taste Test Todd’s Picks For The Win! Love you Guys! Hope your Class at BBQ Pitstop was awesome.
Great video. Used to make a version of this, now will add the smoke and your rub! Thanks
Love the fun interaction together. I'll have to try to make this and "ketofy" it for us. I've done queso with heavy whipping cream but need to check the carbs on Velveeta. Thanks Todd & Susie.
You guys are so cute together. Fun to watch and a fun way to learn.
Love you guys! I always enjoy watching your videos. Also, Susie we just watched your Food Network show, wonderful!!! Hope you get a food network show soon!
Hilarious and a great watch! Was chuckling the whole time! Looks shamefully delicious too...
this is one of my favorite dishes. I just smoke it in the ceramic bowl out of one of my crock pots so I can just pop it in and keep it warm. love your videos keep it up thanks Todd 👍
That was a great video !!! Looks great You two work great together
You guys have awesome content. Thank you,
Loving the little dance Todd!!! We all accept your apology for not making this sooner! Keep producing great content. You two rock!
A1/4 cup of pilsner beer helps the cheso to not “coagulate” so it flows better especially after refrigeration.
Or milk to thin
You and Todd should do more of these recipes. Both of you are great! Stan
Great twist on an already great dip
Interesting Queso recipe
Love this new series
This should be a weekly segment 🎉🎉🎉
That looks & sounds great. I made your WHISKEY PEACH BBQ SAUCE last weekend, IT'S WONDERFUL. Thank you for that recipe. Thank you for adding your SWEET RUB recipe. Now i will have to order IT and your FIESTA RUB. THANK YOU !!!!
Love the channel and this series is funny and an extra blast!
“Don’t tell me what to do” didnt take her long to forget the theme of the episode. :)
TYSVM for the spice recipe. My woe is Carnivore so the only carbs I get is from spices, no sugars. It is really hard to find great spice recipes that do not contain sugars. Hubby and I will be making a batch to have on-hand today.
Pour a light beer in to desired consistency to thin out.
With all that goodness in there I can't imagine it not being fantastic!!! What type of mic do you use? I don't see any on either of you, but it picks both of your voices nicely. Thanks!
We used home made salsa instead of recutting more peppers and canned tomatoes. Was great. Also used hot sausage.
what about adding more creamcheese if you want to thin it out alittle?
excellent video! if you use a digital thermometer, what temp woulf you want the sausage to be at?

I didn't know Tod. Thank you!

I like how clearly obvious Susie was opposed to making this. Please continue to make more videos with the two of you!
Looks great
Looks great guys!! 🙃
You had me at smoked 🔥 new subbie and sending your channel to my peeps! 🍻
Todd gets the ole “anything you want” green light and goes wham bam thank you mamn. You sir are the master
The first 6 minutes of this video are great! Haha! Love Todd (and Susie too of course)!
Quite possibly my favorite video! Love the on camera tag team dynamic! Are we allowed to request regular videos with Todd? :)
Think we're going to try this for Super Bowl Sunday (Go Chiefs). Every other recipe we've tried of yours has been fantastic!
Would cream of onion soup help thin it out? Or you'd just use milk?
Way to go Todd, Looks yummy
My soul delights in this channel?
Great recipe! Making it today. Where did you get your elevated rack? It looks to be just the perfect height. Been looking for just such a rack but cant find one like it, everything is too short or too tall for my liking. Thanks!
I don't remember! Probably Amazon.
"Go get the camera, Todd!" 🤣
This was fun 😊
Add just a bit of milk or even better about a half a beer and mix it in if your queso is too thick.
I add a can of cream of mushroom soup to mine. That makes it a little less cheesier. I would eat it anyway!
My Chile con queso is just Velveeta cheese and Saidis salsa it's the best
Love it!!!🤤🤤🤤
When are having your seasong on Amazon
It’s on there, but you’ll get a better deal ordering from our website.
The passive aggression is delightful! 😂
I've done this before, but used boudan instead of sausage. Nice tip on the milk at the end though. That would have been nice to know
Super fun concept; Todd buys food, Susie coos what Todd want to eat! Haha! Looks delicious guys. I love all of your vids, but this series is pretty fun.
That was a cool show!
I like the idea for this series, I'm intrigued by Todd's ideas and how you pull them together.
Edit: After seeing that you have no control over the purchased ingredients.... maybe have a couple audibles to adjust.
In next week's episode... Cooking with Todd! Watch Suzy walk Todd through him making his own food. Lol
Can you please do smoked shotgun shells? I did the queso and it’s seriously the best!!
Coming soon!
“Can I tell you what I would do if I bought all the ingredients?”
“Just buy queso”.
😂
Southern Utah?
I always add nacho soup to mine
As the primary food cooker, I know the pain of "you know you can cook food whenever you want to"
I like a bit more sw flavor. Also not a fan of green bells. Instead I roast pablano peppers and add. You can also add a can of cream of mushrooms soup to thin it out some. Preferably low sodium since Velveeta is loaded with it.
Adding to my required viewing list for my wife. < Joke people. Gonna try this on Sunday!.
Evaporated millllllk!
How about a chicken bacon ranch casserole or chicken enchilada mac and cheese
Mr. Todd ..... your a very lucky man ... she is a VERY BEAUTIFUL lady !!!!!!!

As the other comment stated, velveeta always needs milk. Looks tasty

1 Can of Evaporated milk. You're welcome.
LOL I forgot about the goofy movie
I sensed some irritation between the lovebirds.
I love you hair like that.
Your hair though....daamit, hair model easy.
I don't want hair in my food,
The shame on you is also the only sign language I remember from school.
Lol, Todd looks gased af in the opening. Puff puff pass bro
Is this vegan?
Of course not?

Wow. It's clear you don't understand the dynamic between us at all. Save us all some time and just go away.
