The story started in 1929 when a Dutch magzine worker Margerine Unie meets with a soup maker company sunlight's owner Lever brothers.
The joint merger of both has started a company Uni-lever.
In india the company has started with the name Hindustan Vanaspati Manufacturing Company in 1931.In 2007 company has changed its name as Hindustan Unilever ltd.
Products of Hindustan Unilever Ltd:
Personal Care- Axe, Fair and Lovely,clinic plus, Sunsilk etc.
Food- Bru, Knor, Lipton, Horlicks etc.
Home Care- Surf Excel, Rin, Wheel etc.
