Like most current "cars" I simply hate driving a bloody mobile phone. Technology is great, every car company seems hell bent on an overkill. Cars are for... DRIVING... without struggling with the touchscreen! A fair and excellent review... again, well done!
The heads up display integrated with google map does offer more than your speed. It has direction and lane direction as well. So far loving it. Not too bad as for Google Auto, prefer it over Merc's MBUX.
Great review. I have a 5yrs old LC200. Thinking of switching to XC90, as it serves as a family carrier. Safety, space and reliability(at least for next 5yrs) are top priorities. Would u recommend the change ? Maybe to a B6 model?
We actually requested to test the MHEV but they didn't have one in the fleet. However from owner feedback they're quite solid things with decent mileage (though nowhere near as good as the T8), and in terms of safety & practicality the XC90 is truly peerless. However in terms of reliability there are conflicting reports about quality (some have zero issues, others make one minor warranty claim a year) so we're not in a position to say anything conclusive in that regard. Either way, for the price & in the segment, to carry 7-people comfortably, safely and efficiently, nothing comes close to the XC90. We don't make the rules.
I switched from Benz GLK to 2024 XC90 T8 PHEV Ultimate, it is worth price you pay for value for money. Initially planned to buy GLE but with the same options I get in Volvo and the comfort GLE would cost more and it doesn't offer 3rd row seating in PHEV. I love driving this car no vibrations at all inside the car and the acoustic insulation is so good. I still own my GLK didn't sell it because it has 3.5 litre V6 engine.

Listening to your review, I’m closer to get xc90 t8,…..
Kia system also likes to hug to the left. Their car is as you might expected, drives on the right hand side.
