You know he cares about it when he’s putting a brand new cam in it. Instead of the dumpster fire sloppy stage 2 that’s seen more lifters then a planet fitness
Are you sure the new cam will make power at 7800 rpm? Jack ran a @.050 227/231 in a 4.8 that shifted at 7800 but that’s a 3.268” stroke crank and he had BTR .685” springs w/Johnson limit travel lifters.
This project showed up on my feed for the first time today. Did I miss the part where the block was prepped and all the bearing clearances for the crank and cam were done and degreed?
Where do you get your engine rebuild kits for LS stuff? I usually get my kits from Amazon/eBay but I want I recently bought an ls7 and don’t want to put cheap quality crap in it lol
I'll use the basic amazon gasket sets. And I'll use rockauto to get part numbers for bearings, rings, etc and order it all off Amazon cause its usually cheaper and free shipping lol
Most Holley parts are made in China, so those other parts aren’t just knockoffs, in most cases they are the same part in the same package without the Holley sticker and mark up. Moroso sells the same pan but with a made in America pickup that’s much better than any of the others and I’m pretty sure it’s still cheaper than Holley’s pan. Engine looks good, I’ve never seen that rustoleum engine paint, the stuff they sell here is terrible now

MORE LIFTERS THAN PLANET FITNESS 👏👏👏
I like it, but Planet Fat-chix doesn’t have any lifters like a real gym.😂
@@deegan727 lol true. Don't wanna get banned for setting the weights down too hard or grunting lol
I'm getting planet fitness ads on this video now... Thankkkssss

My buddy who suggested this cam was suggested it by Capizzi. And he shifted a SBE at 8200 with this cam

No need to degree it all factory parts using factory specs no need to check anything it’s better that way as long as you got oil pressure lol
Btr recommends dot to dot on cam
