Putting 180 tons of gravel on a driveway with Kubota SVL-75

- This driveway had a pretty major drainage problem. The main reason for this was the fact that the entire driveway was way below the surrounding grade. We took the Kubota svl-75 and got 180 tons of gravel installed.

Driveway looks good, great job of spreading the gravel, great commentary and strategy, attention to details, camera view, great video!
Box blade is the best!

Great job. Looked much better and it should last along time. Thanks for the video.
Great work bro
Looks great, but why didnt you just have them tailgate the driveway?
You need a U35 to go with that SVL
We’ve got an e42 now!
Do you like the toothed bucket for grading?
They could of tailgated those loads
Were those wheel barrow drivers just being knobs or did they really not know how to spread the load instead of just dumping in a single pile?
The quarry we use sends this trucking company. Unfortunately a lot of them are school bus drivers....
What do you charge for something like that
I think we got somewhere in the upper 7K range for this one.
Not knowing what you pay for stone where you are, that job for 7ish grand is a good deal, gravel here is high! Great work spreading, just bought a new to me 75-2, switching over from bobcat tires with metal tracks! Can’t wait!
Hard to get a dump truck driver that can tailgate
Your not kidding!
Good job. Im lucky the company I deal with has a few good drivers that can tail gate spread. saves a lot of time. Only time I have to do piles is when there are wires or lots of big branches.
We’ve got one or two guys in the area that can tailgate really well. The others, it’s almost an insurance claim waiting to happen.
It all depends on how the trucks are set up, some won’t let the pto lift the dump and be in gear at the same time. Also depends on if they even have chains on the tailgate and how it’s actuated
Id never let you do that without geogrid fabric first
No need for that in this application. A 6” base of rock was already established. If I were to install geo textile on top of this, it would just make the gravel slide down the hill over time.
