Love your content, but have never understood your use of Defender's Resolve over Leaping Strike. LS would provide an ability to catch and slow opponents, while DR's benefit is significantly mitigated by its long animation. If you have a moment can you explain this choice? Thank you again for the great content.
Yeah man. DR is extremely good because of the dmg reduction and heal. DR + SHIELD rush is such a strong trading combo it's hard to give up. I have my build built for melee close quarters combat. That's my specialty and my playstyle is geared around getting ppl in melee range. LS is good to catch and close and escape. But in close range, DR is unparalleled. The healing increases regen as well so by stalling I can out heal some DoTs. At the start of a fight, everyone off loads their strongest attacks. This basically let's you tank through it all. It is not fortify either. The skill with the move comes from knowing how and when to use it. I get out of line of sight or I jump off a cliff then use as when players follow, they will be mid-air while I'm in animation. If a player runs from me, they have lost psychologically. If they run and pot up and keep returning, you let your health drop low to bait them into tunnel visioning then you catch them with a combo. LS isn't bad. But in close combat, DR is really strong.

@ my server not possible ... there are 125GS light PvP boys in OPR who beat you down in 2-3 seconds. Or bow users kill you in a blink. It´s time for a heavy armor buff and a med armor balance. Hope AGS bring something with the gear-perk-rework.
I mean, the difference between medium and heavy armor is too small. Limited mobility is also a problem. If you can´t run then you have to be a really hard target for brawlers and bows. A Tank should be the job for a mage and not for any physical damage fighter ... rock, paper, scissors principle. Just my two cents

@@letsbuild0815 castle of steel. When you get here. Upload a video of you 1v5 then message me back. If you can't get those clips don't bother trash talking an entire server. Everyone thinks they are on the toughest server....until they transfer
@@atlasfishmo I'm not complaining about my server, I'm just saying the game scenes and players I see in the videos are different from those on my server. You play really well, your movement is great, but the enemies act differently than I see in our OPR on my server.
Sometimes it feels like I'm not wearing armor when a GS hits me without any rend active on my char.
Maybe my char is bugy too... sometimes it doesn't show my HP correctly. Not until I take off all my gear and put it back on. Maybe the game is miscalculating my armor in pvp as well. At least that's how it feels sometimes.

@@MrDestruX lol in opr everyone has at a minimum 600gs. The difference is 5% to 625. He has clips of 1v4 and 1v5 on his channel in OPR. Just because you can't tank in pvp doesn't mean it isn't possible. Many ppl who actually know how to tank can do what he does. Read the comments on his videos. You will see ppl explain how strong they became when they started tanking. Don't take my word for it. Do your research
I fought Atlas multiple times, you just run past him. He can't do anything. People who actually tries to fight tanks dont have enough PVP experience. Put that tank in a clump VS plague (Void Gauntlet or Blunderbuss anti heals) and 2 bruisers he'll end up dying pretty quick. Thats why you see him running in the woods and fighting people there. The people who chases him are not good at PVP. Remember the goal of PVP is to control space. That being said its fun af watching tanks fight unsuspecting players 😂

To destroy your argument.
1: i can and have done exactly the same things atlas does with same and similar builds, its easy to tank 5 noobs with zero experience.
2: it only takes 1 bis pro light Hatchet+gs user to kill atlast or me, or anybody runing this build, its super easy to beat.
3: When i went light i destroyed all tanks on my server, again, really easy if you know how.
4: Tanks are worthless. Cant tank in proper fights, cant kill experienced or even decent players, no mobility, we can no longer make cc chains, we cant catch people, we basically cant do anything.
5: Tanks are however god tier against noobs, like shown in this clip, id say its the best noob slayer build, however thats also basically all your gonna see on these types of montage videos.
I can guarantee atlas gets decimated 1v1 by allot of people on hes server, cause everyone who copies hes build on mine i destroy with ease so.. Dont see him doing anything different than they do tbh.
