Oh, what a lovely, heartfelt version of a great Mancini tune. This naked and beutiful guitar playing and phrasing is really moving me to tears remembering 14 years of companionship with a girlfriend and lover with whom I traveled to various fascinating places and countries, and as I hear this guitar I also recall the stunning lyrics that tastefully supports rhe melody. Simply an intoxicating masterpiece and a great performance in tjis video. Thank you. Please do not delete this..
I just tied a Christmas stocking with presents to the door where a 7 year old girl from Nepal lives. She saw how hard I was working - cleaning up tree limbs and leaves, and she helped me. God Bless her. I don't know her name. Now, Jesus, I am your guest tonight. I have brought the wine:) The man who wrote this song lived about 15 miles from where I sit. The words do not fit tonight, but your beautiful guitar gives me the Peace of Christmas. Gracias, Feliz Navidad, and God Bless:) Timmo/USA
Oh my!… Sorry for being so lazy… One month after recording the arrangement I forgot it (like all the rest) and if I didn’t write it then it is difficult to do it now just watching the video… But I’ll do it some day anyway… Thanks so much for your kind words and that heroic patience and a big hug from Spain!
Thank you so much from Vancouver, Canada, for this beautiful version of a great Mancini song, which I believe he said was his personal favourite of all his songs written for film. It is haunting and evocative. You are a fine guitarist and have given me much pleasure with your You Tube recordings.
Sigue publicando videos. Una nueva fan desde NYC.
A beautiful piece from Mancini (he has written so many beautiful songs) You have it transferred perfectly to the guitar. Bravo Jesus! All the best, Guenter
Awesome & perfect!!!! by ChamacoJesus of Henry Mancini's "Two for the road" in classic guitar rendition...i will always remember this version...a very memorable one!!!
So COOL ! BEST VERSION AMONG ALL INSTRUMENTALS ! It's one of the most beautiful instrumental Wedding song I have ever heard in my entire life . It's' giving me the chills ! VERY ENCHANTING ! A MASTERPIECE !
You just played my favorite version of the most lovely film I´ve ever seen. The ending you gave to it is adorable.
A million thanks Anna, it is an extraordinary song, and Audrey Hepburn is simply adorable in the film... Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. Cheers!
The most exquisite arrangement of this song, played on a guitar. The execution is clean and bright sounding, with a perfect rhythm and tempo. I only wish the camera had been better positioned to capture the chord positions. Thanks for sharing your wonderful rendition of this great song.
A thousand thanks for all those compliments! You’re right, this video was recorder with another camera and in a different position and it is blurry and useless for other guitarists... Thanks a lot for your attention and your feedback!
@@chamacojesus .... Please, it is we, the listeners, who owe you a great applause and appreciation for having taken the time and effort to share your lovely music with us. Succinctly put, it has reached me and touched my heart in a most meaningful way. Since I first heard your playing, this music revolves in my mind constantly....a good thing, really. My first comment was a rather selfish one, but I meant no offense to you. I apologize.
Jesus, Mancini once said that Two for the Road was his personal favorite of all his compositions. It is mine also. Mancini further remarked that most of the musicians he worked with also enjoyed playing this piece because the chord movements and harmonies allowed great latitude for improvisation. Your arrangement and performance of this great contemporary classic is superb, as with all of your videos. Now, I will get another glass of wine and listen a few more times. Pura Vida!! Ron
It is an extraordinary comment, my friend. I feel absolutely honored you chose my guitar to make your Christmas Eve warmer.... Merry Christmas and a thousand thanks! Jesus

Hola Jesus, Saludos de Isla Colon (Panama). I am here in a crystal clear water paradise, 06:00 and the Panamanian mountains are distant to the west across a calm channel. I chose your Mancini video to greet this perfect morning as I sit drinking coffee. Last evening, the ocean was brilliant with luminescent jellyfish, like neon lights in a dark city. Your playing is the perfect match for this peak experience. I send you all the peace and contentment I am experiencing now. Ron (El Hedonista)
Genial arreglo. Tres bravos.
You never failed to impress me. It is absolutely enchanting. Some day my friend, some day I will get to your level.LOL. What make of a guitar is that, its tone is gorgeous.

Apart from the superb composition: you have a magical touch with your right hand: the sound you deliver to us is tremendously inspiring and uplifting.
Beautiful version! Probably the best in YT! Congratulatins and THANK YOU WITH WHOLE MY HEART - because I love that song since I heard it in cinema as a youngster...Have you heard Path Metheny's parents used to listen Henry Mancini's music as he was a child and since that time he (me too😂) loves that music. Once he was in Poland with concerts (also in Cracow - where I was born and grown up) and being interviewed he told a story on radio/studio : He remembers the tune "Slow hot wind" but arranged this only yesterday evening in hotel room so never played for people. He decided to play it live on radio during the interview AND I HAVE RECORDED IT ON CASSETTE🙂 Its very unusual , great melody I love.Maybe you know it? Would you arrange it? I'm sure your version would be GREAT. Thank you for your last greetings after my first comment . BEST WISHES AND WARM POLISH GREETINGS from south/east corner of Poland (50km Ukraine/30km fro Slovakia) Mikael
