That happend to me too I just changed my resolution down untill it fixed its self then put it back up to full resolution and it fixed it for me my mouse now goes where I want it instead or reversed lmao was baffling me for a good 10 mins 😂

Nice video, i got a kind of weird question but when im on the vertical tall screen, and im at the top of the screen and try to move into the middle screen it doesnt work because it doesnt line up, if you understand?, is there some kind of way to make it so wherever on the tall screen i am able to move into the middle screen? thanks (it's because my middle screen is 1920x1080, and my tall vertical screen is 4k)
Yeah you would have to move the mouse further down on the vertical screen to move it over. if you line it up right, you would be able to move it over when the mouse is at the same height as the other screen

The aspect ratio of those videos won’t allow you to take up the entirety of the screen with the video, if you hit full screen, it should give you a video in the middle of the screen from edge to edge left and right. The top and bottom will be unused space.
Not sure what you mean there, if you want to do different things on each monitor you would need to make sure you set it to extend the display instead of duplicate

I have a 27" 1440p monitor as my main and a 24" 1080p vertical monitor as my second. The issue I have is that when both have scaling on 125%, the scaling on my second monitor is still smaller than on my main screen. When I set the second monitor to 150% scaling the sizing is more similar however then the programs "blow up" when moving across. This also means that when dragging stuff over in like the centre it's fine but when you start moving more up and down it starts getting more jaggered. Is there any way to fix this or is it the fact they're 2 different sized monitors? I have the resolution on the second monitor set as 1440x2560 even though it's a FHD monitor.
When the resolutions are different, you aren’t going to get the same sizing. Naturally at 100%, everything in 1440p is going to look smaller. In the video my main is 1440p and the vertical is 1080p. Theres a bit of a size difference, but the extra real estate is worth the difference
did you get any solution for this. i have the same setup. and didn't find any solution. i have tried a lot and left with frustration. i am even having different window sizes if its in middle.
hi i’m on windows 10, every thing works but i have connected a 1080p and a 4k monitor to my laptop but it doesn’t have the option for me to change the 4 k monitor to 4k , the highest it goes is to 1080p
This can depend on the connection and the limitations of the laptop. Try using just the 4k monitor and see if you have the option. If you do and it doesn’t work when both are connected, it’s likely that the laptop can’t output dual monitors with one being 4k

Is it possible to intentionally have black bars on the top and bottom of the vertical screen that line up with the main screen so that a game would display on both monitors without showing extra screen space that is necessary so the total viewing area is still a rectangle rather than a Brocken L shape?

On mine if you open it and drag it over to your second monitor the next time you open the app it will open on the second screen as long as you closed it on that second screen
This is likely because the resolution is not set properly on the monitor. Make sure the resolution you pick matches your monitor specs (most of the time it’s the recommended one in the listing). Sometimes windows 11 is odd with monitors and you have to unplug the display cable and plug it back in for it to recognize the monitor properly.

sooooo i did everything correct....... but my mouse cursor is flipped and then i cant click or open tabs on the portait screen

@An-espi7 no you need dedicated outputs from your pc, you may need an adapter depending on what ports you have.

Sounds like they might not be adjusted to mimic your real life view, maybe move them around in the settings a bit to see if that helps.

So my horizontal is a 35 inch and the vertical is a 29 inch I believe. Size shouldn’t be an issue unless it’s too big for your space or monitor arm!

Not sure what you mean by that? You can put whatever you’d like on there. I use it for code windows, web broweser, MS teams and Spotify usually

There are ways to achieve this but you will need extra hardware for this.
Does windows 10 have the ability to physically move the 2nd monitor in that little box too?
It should be very similar to the functionality in windows 11

You need to go to the edge of the discod and shrink it so no part is left

Good question, you may be able to achieve this using the nvidia control panel potentially but I’m not 100% sure

I believe apps open by default on the main monitor. I’m not sure if there’s a setting to change that
