Thanks!! Saludos desde Bilbao.
Excellent - this is a hard one to cover, on so many levels - but you did it proud, IMHO. The technical accuracy aspect of the performance was spot on. The most difficult part - capturing the sorrowful sarcastic attitude of Anderson's vocals, along with the slowly rising cadence up to the denouement - that's something you've got to feel in your bones; sort of the Olde English Minstrel version of the Blues...
Is that really a name, a popular name, in the British isles during some era? I often think of Anderson as an actual Shakespearean fool, or perhaps The ministal in a now global gallery, stating the truth in couched terms to power, and, when he meets your gaze, greets it with sly wink.. a nod to you that you are looking at a satiric character of time gone by who is in on the joke, and ironic in acknowledging no one, ever, is above it all. Most excellent rendition.
I can only say Wow! That's a fantastic performance. Apart from many other things, I can tell that you must have worked hard on your vocal enunciation - very true to Ian Anderson. I'm not a musician myself, but there seem to be some very interesting chord progressions going on there. And such beautiful and heart-felt contributions from Jeff Eacho. Anyway, I really enjoyed your rendition of Sossity by Jethro Tull. Thank you again. Best wishes.
Absolutely brilliant!

That was fantastic! Very often in Tull covers the voice is the weak part, perhaps because Anderson's voice was so unique, but here it was excellent.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!

This is a sophisticated song, and this cover delivers it well, in a very sophisticated manner. Excellent.
Another big wow!
Another big thumbs up too!
Wow! I wouldn’t have known it wasn’t the original till you sang - and even then.. wow. Well done
Nice job. Way to go. Great performance. Thanks so much for posting this.
Damn near perfection.
Wow very well done Sir.
6/17/24 A masterful cover! My favorite JT song, done beautifully!!
Classic is an often used term, but in this case well deserved. For all the music Ian made after this, the Benefit album is one of his best.
Very nicely done Tom. While I could certainly learn the guitar, there is no way I could sing at the same time - a real talent.
Bravo (bravi!), excellent rendition! It remains one of my favourite acoustic pieces by Jethro Tull, after all...
You nailed it. Remarkable performance.
such a great job on this one of my faves of Ian! You did it justice!

@@edfederoff2679 Hey, thanks for listening. I appreciate that!
Very nice indeed. A complicated song on guitar. Took me a good while to get it down and probably missed some detail even at that. Nice, nice.
Superb rendition of this great song. It all blends together so beautifully.

Great rendition of one of my all time favourite numbers, well done. Anderson's a genius.👍
awesome, thx!
Bravo. Very worthy. Not ridgy didge but so very close.

@@take5th Great question. Martin had a boat named "Sossity" according to Ian at that time. Agree with your assessment and thanks for listening!
@@westvalleyjunction must have been an old boat!
Love it! Well done
