Hi, I just picked up a few(8) in the last 2 months from Lowes. Do you always report them? I did for 6 of them, 1 small one picked up rot not totally dead but on all three bulbs. The last 2, I picked up I'm not reporting. I want to see how they grow without disturbing the roots, since its fall season.
Yes, I always repot them. In my experience, the bag babies are usually not in very good condition to begin with so by repotting I know that I am giving them the best chance at success. However, I do give them a little time before I do so thst way they can acclimate to my environment a bit before the shock of being repotted. It may be that the one that rotted on you was already on its way out when you bought it. I hope that is helpful. Thanks for watching!
Do you have any Bag Babies in your collection?
