Amazing steps, Mr Tom. The video was excellent as well, almost made me feel like I was actually at the pour myself. Lol 😝, yeah very relaxing 😡 That deeper texture on the ribbons do stand out nicely. Thank you for the video, Sir. See you next time. 👍
Those steps definitely make a statement and are more of an art piece than some old steps. Awesome work by the crew. Theres nobody else on UA-cam that can even come close to the same level of work that you guys do, some of these shows take 2 days to pour a simple flat square driveway and they’re always complaining nonstop, yea victory ! Great job 👍
Said it before will say it again. No one else on UA-cam is showing any stair work and your putting out beautiful, complicated stairs many times per year.
I watched a You-tube video of Bondo-built concrete out of New York build similar stairs like these....and they poured a footer down in the ground first.....and they also lined the cinerblocks blocks up very straight first before building the forms.....and they also locked all the cinder blocks together with gravel and filled all the cinder blocks with gravel....to really develop a strong sub-grade before they poured any concrete.
Those steps and sidewalk turned out awesome! Not sure if you’ve ever talked about how you got into the concrete business, but that would be an interesting topic this winter on your downtime.
Really looks great. Question, with as often as you guys toss tools round, the little clips for the stone face and the small trowels etc, how often do you loose tools at the sites?
My dad use to build plywood boxes that looked like the steps only smaller to keep from waisting so much concrete the same way you are filling them with blocks..
The steps are amazing. I sure hope we get to see the stone laid on the sides. That will make them even more amazing. That curve in the walk is brilliant. Such a great look. How aggravating was that rain? It didn't want to rain, it just wanted to be pain in the @$$. I think this is gonna be one of those homes we want to see after all is complete. Sure is beautiful. The concrete is the finishing touch. The only thing left to make it all shine is green grass. Let me repeat what Tom said. "Nice work, guys!" It would have been nicer to see two matching rock columns, one on each side at the foot of the steps to attach hand railing to. A very nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍🙏❤️🇺🇲🇺🇲
Now you are mind reading over the Internet! I was wondering why you guys always roll a pattern on even though you are going to apply another pattern (the one you slap with your hands) afterward. While I was thinking about whether or not I would ask that question; you answered it! Great video!
Hi Tom, how expensive is a load of stone. Verses using styraphone, on top of the concrete block. The styraphone offers no support. What will happen once the styraphone determines. The steps will sag, and collapse. Just trying to understand, Joe Capo.
With a wide set of steps like that I would have stacked 12inch block along each side 8 to 10 inches away from the side forms and filled the webs on the block and the middle between the block with 2b limestone !
From the front view the steps look great and appear as individual slabs stacked. HOWEVER, from the side they look just poured BECAUSE there is no 'cut' line that extends the slabs individually as horizontally separate. Picky ? Your crew is about perfection SO just a thought.
I really like the way the stairs turned out....very beautiful. But I do not like the way all the cinder blocks were just kind of tossed in there first, and i did not like that black plastic visqueen tarp piece just kind of pushed in all under the concrete.....did not seem like a proper, strong foundation.
Great looking steps, but why did you pin the front of steps into the porch foundation? Over time when the steps settle, it will pull the foundation away from the house. Same was done to a side entrance on my house and bowed the foundation. I had to have the concrete steps sawed off from where they were pinned and rebricked. Maybe should have piered down to the footer for proper support of the steps?
@@daveklein2826 Only 2 steps down and 6' wide across. Over time, front bottom cantilevered down into the ground and the back of steps that were pinned to the foundation, pulled the surface brick and foundation a little bit out. Lesson learned -- NEVER pin free-floating concrete to a structure unless there is proper support at the opposite end.
@@daveklein2826 The end of concrete steps should be firmly supported by pillars in the ground; preferably down to the footer in order to prevent settling. Only then should you pin the high end of steps to the house!!!
I don’t want to offend and it’s just my 2 cents but maybe you should keep one camera on your head and another stationary on a tripod and don’t just quickly run through finishing the concrete but show it in real time. Your work is fantastic and you should definitely have more subscribers. Thanks for sharing and keep up the beautiful work
Hi Tom, I realize that I can be very critical. But if this project was mime. The foam as a filler, is not excepatcle. You are better than this. This is the second project this year that is disappointing. Especially when the customers basement got flooded, Joe Capo.
Great to see a team that knows what they are doing...
Nice job as always Tom. Neither rain nor sleet or dead of night will keep TSH concrete from their appointed Concrete pours :) ❤💯🙏
Amazing steps, Mr Tom.

Nice work as always
GOOOOOOD
MAAAAAAAAWNIN EVERY!!! Nice job Tom!! Your crew is phenomenal!!
Have a day
Thanks! You too!
You have THE BEST pour ideas. Enjoy watching your nice projects.
Nice work guys, really nice 👍
Does the foam dissolve over time and if so Doesn’t that crash the stairs?
Thanks Bob
the man in the big sky let you get your job done. nice work!
You got that right!
Looks good I can’t wait to see the walk and driveway done. Enjoyed your UA-cam
What a beautiful job on the steps and sidewalk!

Looks great Tom and Crew … the ribbon looks good in the sidewalk it’s a nice touch ….. 🇺🇸👊🏼👊🏼✌🏼
The steps turned out awesome, very inviting. Thanks for sharing these great videos.
A team of artists!
It’s as much physics as it is an art form…well done Tom!
GOOOOOOD
MAAAAAAAAWNIN EVERYONE!!…
Thanks
Steps turned out really nice!
Yinz do amazing work. Probably the best on UA-cam. I watch all the other guys, no one is as detailed and no one else works so well together!
Much appreciated!
Awesome looking job guys 👍
Thanks 👍
you guys shoud be proud of your work

We already had the footer done at the base
Fancy steps. Happy people do happy work. I was bragging on your crew yesterday. Probably get a subscriber.
Thanks that’s what we need
No doubt about it, those steps look like slabs of stone, Tom. Top work.
Hi Tom, the stone will lock the blocks together. And make a more solid job. If I was the customer. You would be redoing those steps.
That turned out really nice. Great job guys 🎉
That is awesome can you come to Reading Pa. And do a porch for me.
I would love to, but sorry that’s just too far

BEEEAUTIFUL !!!! Perfect welcoming stairs 👍👍👍Love this look 👏👏👏
How many yard of concrete did it take for those steps
Really looks great. Question, with as often as you guys toss tools round, the little clips for the stone face and the small trowels etc, how often do you loose tools at the sites?
Awesome project 👍 Love the combination of heavy and light textures. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Beautiful work guys👍
Wow.. Great job guys
I was so upset with you when you finished the last video after setting up the molding 😂
I forgive you now
My dad use to build plywood boxes that looked like the steps only smaller to keep from waisting so much concrete the same way you are filling them with blocks..
Would taping the liner across the top stop the concrete from getting behind it , or to much bother ?
Most of the time it’s not a big deal good idea sometimes that would come in handy

6:04 is that a huge crack in the foundation over at the power box? looks patched. i guess that stone will cover it up. 😂
I’m so thankful for you not moving the camera as much, try just a tad more.Bless you
would a strip of painter's tape on the seam between form and liner help with not getting concrete behind liner?
You fill in the void with styrofoam? I didn’t know that was a practice used for concrete.

All that is was for, is fill not structure
I like it that you use re bar instead of chicken wire

Did you ever think that your foundation or steps were poured wrong??

No, the lesson learned is get a good contractor to do your foundation and steps

It's so hard to be a CONCRETE UA-camR
Just be happy you get to see this on the tube. I appreciate just watching what he has time to record for us all watching his videos.
I'm not intending to cause problems with the general contractor, but your idea of wrapping the broken stone around would have been way better looking.
VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER CONCRETE 🤡 😂😂 EASY MONEY 😂😂 THIS IS SO PROFESSIONAL AND CONTROLLED
That other clown has almost 600K subscribers more then any other YTuber doing concrete work !
You’ll never get that tarp out now

Dayumm, everyone likes sausage but no one wants to see it being made.
