@@JuanDhas no Problem , I love doing things like this,, but youre much better at it than me ,,, but .. Try This ..play in C as you were, but avoid hitting the note C ... any diatonic note , but not the root C .. youll find 2 things ... at first its weirdly hard , as your head , ears and fingers keep directing you there and you fail a few times .. but then if you get it going ... it sounds kinda ;Floaty: as it wanders but never really resolves ,,, it a kind of control excersice ... and bit of fun
Always great videos!! Awesome playing!! I'm teaching guitar in my own school in France. It's always a huge source of inspiration to watch you. But a lot of work to! :) Congrates!!!
Outstanding lesson! Love your tone! Here are some lesson suggestions: a) exercises to be able to play those sick stretched chords, b) how to use Messiaen modes effectively and b) motive development or how to play more melodically. Cheers!
Thank you so much! Really glad that you enjoyed it. While I don't have any exercises for building up to chords that require a further stretch, I can probably tackle the other two at some point! Adding them to my list, and will hopefully get around to them further down the line (have a few more commenter-submitted topics to get through).
Some great ideas, Juan - lots of food for thought! I, for one, would be interested in your thoughts/tips on Messiean application (one chord and beyond😄). It’s dark, but a nice shade of dark👍😉. Best...
@@JuanDhas Oh okay. Thanks for that. Possibly it would be a good idea to put it in the description also from next time? Just a suggestion. Thanks anyway.
Your sound is awesome!
Thank you!
Trying to absorb everything from this lesson, Juan. Thank you so much for sharing your concepts.

Thanks, Barry! Sure, I could do a video on my take on mode 3. Will note it down for later!

Mil gracias, Jean!!
100!!!
Glad you dug the lesson, man!
Wish I could sound half like this
Very kind of you!
Where's the link to the concert that u played that you talked about?
Check the cards of the video. It'll be a concert I did with Berklee Abu Dhabi.
@@JuanDhas Actually it's not there in the video description. Only your Bandcamp is there. Is it in your Bandcamp perhaps?
@@aadityakiran_s Check the cards in the video itself (the i in the top right).
