Moved to Rohnert Park in 1982. My new step father was a fan. We became close and i became a life long Niner fan! I got to watch the team during it's dominance. Never forget those days.
..from the earliest I can remember even liking football as a kid in Florida surrounded by Dolphins fans, I was mesmerized by Tom Landry, Staubach, Newhouse, Calvin Hill, the Pearson’s and star in the helmet, and became a lifelong Cowboys fan. Fast forward to 3 years ago, as a 60yo man, I had finally had enough of the Jerry Jones circus and found the courage to leave that toxic, abusive relationship. Looking around the league, I was really unsure who my ‘new team’ would be. That’s not an easy thing to do! But then I started thinking about how I’d always loved the Niners from afar, even as a devoted Cowboys fan ..and the choice felt a little like coming home. Such a great organization, with great coaching and great talent evaluation and heart. I feel free! Love the Niners! And love this channel. Thanks guys.
Im 55 yrs old, got my first 9ers book bag in the 3rd grade. Happiest kid ever. In 1979 when Joe Montana came on board I started learning the game and was hooked for life! I raised all my kids 9ner fans. I have a brick for life cemented at Levi's. We go to home games from out of state every year. We've had alot of fun being part of the faithful!
i’m 18 and i’ve loved the 49ers since i can remember. my parents have been fans since the glory days in the 80s, i’ve been cheering the niners on as long as i’ve known what football is ❤💛
I became a 49ers fan in 1974. Tom Owen was the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers in 1974. Owen led the team in passing that season. We couldn't beat the Cowboys or the Rams back then....lol....I liked the way the team played and their style of playing and of course I fell in love with the city.
Born the 1981-82 season first Super Bowl victory. Been a fan since. This bad season was a blessing. Our guys have played 20 games every year for like 5 years straight. We needed a rest. Last time we had a bad season 2020, we came back and went on a monster run. Most key players are well rested - Trent, Aiyuk, McCaffrey, Greenlaw, Bosa, Hufanga
I became a 9ers fan in 2008. That's really when I started watching football. It's been my families team, and I couldn't help but cheer for them. Especially after watching highlights of HOF 49ers legends.
Since late 70s which is as far back as I can remember. I lived about 10-15 minutes from Sierra College where they had their summer training camp from the summer of 81 through 97. Many great times going there to watch them.
Hopefully we pay Purdy like a mahomes contract and pay him for the next 10 years so we can evenly distribute the money throughout the years and not all crammed up in a 4 year contract.
I was born and raised in the SF area (Daly City) and became a die hard Niner fan in the eighties when Joe Montana was the QB. Watching him quarter back was like watching Bjorn Borg play tennis....pure poetry....
Hey I can't wait for the discussion about Sam darnold being better than Brock after yesterday's game and why Brock shouldn't get paid right not even just the game from yesterday but all the wild card games wild card games
Fan since 1964 when I was 10. My dad was a fan so we watched the games. Took dad to a game when it was Montana to Rice. He said he needed to go to the bathroom. I said wait because Montana to Rice will score. He left and Niners scored while he was gone. He was President of Rotary that year so I showed up at the meeting to get him fined. I asked him in front of all his friends if he saw all the scoring. He had to say no and I asked why. One of my favorite Niner memories! 😂
I was born in SF, so I am a 49er fan by default since 1969;-) However, it was tough to be a fan in the 70s, so I was also into Miami and Oakland until Walsh came along. I ditched the weird Davis family and Miami after his arrival and have been a loyal fan ever since.
The year of "The Catch". I was Cowboys fan and when the 49ers beat them to go to the Superbowl. I cheered for them in the SuperBowl and I have been a fan since!
I became a niners fan in 2011 I was five years old my dad was a niners fan and I became one plus I started football at that age and was just getting started watching the nfl
Watched Niners games with my Dad starting in 1980 when we moved into our first house in Mill Valley, CA (in Marin County). My first distinct memory is The Catch in 1982 because he was totally freaking out and it upset my younger sister. Been a fan ever since (am now 50 years old).
Been a Niner fam from way back when they announced Joe as our new QB. Been to a few games at Candlestick where it was so foggy and drizzling that you could barely see the plays on the field😂
I totally agree with you Chase. Every week there was different players playing on the OL and RB and WR....every week....Brock is a Rhythm-timing QB and trying to get his rhythm to match his ever-changing receivers was very difficult for him, but he did have two players that he had their timing and they had his timing and they were" George Kittle who finished his season 2024 with 1,106 receiving yards and 8 TD's; and Jauan Jennings who would have gotten 1,000 if Kyle would have had him play the last game of the season. Jauan had 975 receiving yards and 6 TD's these guys were the reliables of the season, however, Kyle Shanahan didn't call plays or design plays for these two.....so they rarely got thrown to in very crucial games....and the fans were very angry about that....also RB's were all hurt and playing injured 90% of the season with CMC absence. So, I blame the coach. Kyle ranked No.13th in play callers in 2024......Kyle called plays predictably and poorly. Poor protection. Kyle drafted 3 good linemen last season>>>>Drake Nugent, Dominick Puni & Jared Kingston. I watched these guys play in college and in preseason they were soooooo good.....but Kyle cut Kingston and The Panthers picked him up. And I have seen Kyle do this every season for the past 7 years and then that person he cuts.....the team needs that player and their skill in games....So, the dysfunction of the team is his fault just like it was his fault in 2020.
Love your show. Became a 49ers fan in '84 without realizing it, I was eight (8). If they do not get Saleh, they need Dennis Allen. Yes on new ST coach and not sure the current OC will challenge Shannahan (separate topic)-- Shannahan needs to check his ego and the OC needs to have a strong/respectful personality to compliment Shannahan. This is a must season for Shannahan ... or should be!
1989-1990 season I became a fan during the 55-10 blow out against the Broncos. My first Super Bowl I watched. I was young and thought the Broncos colors were cool so I rooted for them but quickly changed my mind. I’ve been a 9ers fan since then.
I became a 9ers fan in 94. Steve young was the man. I'm from Iowa and i watched the bills cowboys last few good years, but it wasn't impressive. I feel in love with Steve Youngs style and since i had no local team, i have stuck with them since.
1989. My grandfather had died and a family friend moved in to help with animals that he cared for. I didn’t know the guy but he simply said to me one Sunday “Joe Montana is the best player ever”. I was 7 years old and I took that statement to heart. I live in Seahawk territory so I’ve been an outsider for 35 years.
I think it was 1969. My step-father was a Rams fan so....My idols were Gene Washington and Kermit Alexander. The Rams were on top most of the time. I remember seeing a game sitting on wood benches at Kezar.
Do we need a video explaining why the Niners’ defensive coordinator is attractive? That’s just one big reason. If you’re good, it’s a stepping stone to becoming a head coach, like Saleh or Democo Ryan. PS will Kyle feel comfortable with anyone on his staff that take chances???
When I research this information I discovered that The 49ers have in total Defense in 2024 ranked No. 8.....The Chiefs are ranked No.9n and the Ravens are ranked No. 10 in total Defense for 2024. So, the problem is not enough details in practice and preparation and injuries which has to do with "Conditioning." The 49ers total offense for 2024 is ranked No. 4. What that Hell........and Brock Purdy is ranked No. 7 in Quarterbacks....What tha Hell!!! What happen? injuries.....dealing with conditioning....and players getting some rest time under injury category. Practicing details in executing plays and creativity. Brock NEEDS a great Front Offensive line.....another play making TE!!!

Fan since around 1970 and the days of coach Dick Nolan, quarterback John Brodie, and wide receiver Gene Washington.
What’s your thoughts on Brock Purdy?
Me too… don’t forget Gene Washington..WR!
@@angelocruz2594Brock is the real deal…
Moved to Rohnert Park in 1982. My new step father was a fan. We became close and i became a life long Niner fan! I got to watch the team during it's dominance. Never forget those days.
Grew up in Santa Rosa 😊
I went to SRHS, SRJC, SSU (super local), worked for Sonoma county

I thought this was the 49er report. I don’t care a damn thing about Mike McCarthy, and the Dallas Cowgirls.
He talking about a coach that they have and any time those boys team crumbles i want to hear about it dont be so naive
Always catching My ear... Chase Rocks🎸
San Francisco 49ers 🔥
I became a Niners fan around 2017, but I learned about their pass success overtime and some of the legendary players from those periods

Fan since "93" other than GOD my 49ers are the only thing I've been faithful to 💯.

I’ve became a Niners fan in 2011, when Kaepernick was leading the offense.
As soon as I read McCarthy was out at Dallas, my immediate hope was that Shanahan was on the phone with Fassel.
Dude, you are getting me excited with this one. Great work, Chase.
9ers need a great conditioning team to limit the injuries. A lot of pressure on your QB with players in and out with injuries and dropped passes.
'94 was the year I became a Niner fan

Jerry wants to hire Deion. Dallas's special teams is the best part of their team.
John Fassel would be a great hire, Lynch should know that
