How you describe "the blind spot" is like how I look at my chart in the vedic sidereal placements, going back to the previous sign opens up so much more about ourselves, I speak for myself personally. Thank you Molly, as always, so enlightening.
Appreciate towards the end where you mentioned empty signs because my chart has alot of planets and points packed into Capricorn and Aquarius while my sun is in Pisces and I have no planets/points in Aries. Packed planets are known as a stellium. Sounds like you may have two? These point toward important themes in your life depending on what house they fall in.
@@missmjl2468 yes, I have a double Stellium in my 2nd house. 4 planets/points in Aqaurius and 3 in Capricorn, 2nd house stretches across both those signs so yes, there are some major themes about values and worth that have and probably still need to be dealt with. I love when I get a little more clarity on it.

I am curious what you are pointing at by calling the previous sign to your sun sign the"blind spot". But it is in any case true that I went "backwards" on the astrological wheel in my personal development over the past years. Until I was 25 I was living my life focused on my sun sign in sagitarius, seeing all possibilities to travel and discover the world. That came to an end, and I have found myself "forced" to go inward and do a lot of inner work in depth, having difficulties to actually go explore the outer world. I started to identify myself more with the previous sign scorpio. Now it makes more sense, with this podcast and also with the feeling that I can actually move forward and go explore again after another 25 years. And I also am anticipating more the sign after my sun sign, capricorn, to go and "build" something based on what I have discovered over the years. It also feels that by pointing to the opposite sign, which is gemini, I can focus more on structuring my thoughts in order to go forward. The whole astrological wheel experience becomes more accessible in my energy this week. And in my understanding through this podcast. Thank you very much.

My Virgo stellium is opposed by the Pisces line up and this is a five year Saturn progression for me because it crosses two houses. I’m talking about slow moving Neptune, Jupiter….and then Saturn shows up next. I am asking your take on long term “Balancing” or opposed signs.
I have no planets in Aries or Libra its opposite but luckily having an 8 planet Capricorn stellium my Mars is in Capricorn. took me a while to know what my driving force actually was but im here and its huge.
My Sun & Asc are Cancer. Ergo, my 12th is Gemini. This house is hidden. I have nothing major in it. I usually can't abide Geminis because they're too flighty. Yet l love many Gemini musicians. I am looking forward to reading your new book, Awakening Astrology, using the free companion worksheet (the workshop was great!) and really getting into how I can apply this to knowing myself and my people better. Exceptions are Venus 1' 41" Sag, Chiron at 29' 51" Pisces and my Ascendant is 8' 12" Sag.
I have a couple questions BUT first, THANK YOU! This is so powerful! Thank you for this, I’ve never seen this way of using my chart before. So many insights are coming to me about my energies now. My questions: could I use this process on my rising sign or midheaven to get perspective on those angles? Also, if I use whole sign instead of placidus, I’m getting a different story. How do I know which to use? I normally look at my chart via placidus but many astrologers seem to teach whole sign?

I really enjoyed this and I wonder if this is why, as a 10th house Leo Sun, my Cancer 9th house (with Mars) and Virgo 11th (with Venus) plays so prominently in my own career. As well as my Aquarius 4th house bringing in that balance with my Moon. My career has gone from healthcare/caregiving to managerial then back to caregiving and now venturing into various healing modalities of Astrology, Tarot, Reiki and Clinical Herbalism.

Hmm, distinction between "sun sign" and rising sign? One could have been born in Aries , say April 1 but born at 5p.m. and have a rising sign in a totally different sign. Therefore "who" we are to ourselves can be very different from "Who" we are to the people around us. So which "sun" sign are you speaking of?
The rising sign and sun sign are completely different. This video is talking about the sun sign, which is basic astrology, and the rising sign is not mentioned once in this video.
I think she said the sign before yours is what your energy just evolved from. If you want to study all of the evolutions from Aries go for it. However, the sign just before is closest to your sign and most relevant.
