Exotic Scents with Nikhil Thank you! After we filmed this I saw your video and saw how to open the scroll lol. After smelling these my interest for Middle Eastern/Arab scents was piqued so I started binge watching your channel since you have so much knowledge of these.
Favorite is Majalis (sweet and spicy) and Meydan is a legit well-layered leather scent. I’ll give it to the Arabs. They are masters of scents and perfumery 👍🏼
You two are so fun together! Loved this video. I like dirty oud sometimes, depends on the other notes. Do not like the Dusita one...love Xerjoff's Al-Khatt. This house sounds interesting!!!
Whoa, her eyes did get watery haha. I want to get my nose on it now. The reactions from both of you were very clear. The Oud scent has a punch in the opening. Nabeel is a company in the United Arab Emirates founded by Al Attar in 1969. I've been wanting to sample a few of their luxurious bottles but it's very difficult to get a decant. You're right about the expensive part. Great video, Sebastian. I was amongst one of the people to mention a collaboration. Great collaboration.
I am obsessed with your videos! I'm so glad you are one of the very few people who reviewed this house, I like watching what people have to say about fragrances I already own (Meydan and Abraj)! You are by far the only reviewer I trust, we share similar interests in notes and i think that's due to the Arabic background, your channel deserves way more views and subscribers.. keep up the great content xx
I'm glad this house is getting a little more notoriety. I enjoyed watching your first impressions. I did the first impressions on this house a few months ago. Check it out let me know what you think. My favorites are the first one you sniff, Oud and the last one. PS Paul the ribbon up in the scroll open.
Very nice first impressions video guys. I am a massive fan of Majalis. Meydan, Baz and Abjar will be my next ones from this house. Keep up the good work making this great content!
I appreciate this video (6 years later) and I am certain I, and most of your regular subscribers, appreciate your true reactions. I didn't take anything as disrespectful at all. I was researching one of these to decide if it was something I wanted to pay the high price for, and seeing how we Western folks react is what I was looking for. I'm not trying to shell out almost a grand for something that would probably make myself and people near me repulsed. I'm certain that a person could get used to this and come to enjoy it, but I personally am not interested in doing that.
Lauren!!! You don't know Kouros? You need to sort that out asap, not to say I think you'd like it necessarily but it's a classic, great reference for animalic bold 80s style fragrance. Great first impressions, some of the notes of these scare me but a couple sound very nice indeed. Can't believe Laurens' eyes actually watered!!
I will check it out Kouros if I can find it. Yeah, probably not my cup of tea. I thought of you with the Oud fragrance. I got some on my pants and then had to go to a party after meeting with Seb. I remembered that Oud fragrance story you told in your video!
very nice review of these super intriguing fragrances , enjoy Lauren channel very much , would love to see another of you both, have a wonderful holidays to both ☺
Really fun video! Enjoyed the reactions to Oud; my eyes were watering in sympathy. Abraj would most likely be my pick out of those samples. Subbed to LolaScents!
Hello Together You are doing this pure fantastic oud fragrance sooo what of injustice. Please make a separate video where the fragrance is deepened and better checked. Thank you
Thanks for the video review for The Spirit of Dubai. Almost all were on my want list before you review, but after watching this review, now crazy to buy OUD first as it is the most animailc, aggressive, dirtiest, skanky oud. 2nd choice is Majalis and 3rd is Meydan.
That was fun to watch lol, loved the reaction to the oud! Seb can I ask you a question, as I said before I but lots of niche samples to try out from 4 different companies and I have just received a batch through with the atomisers being white in colour instead of clear meaning I can't see the measurements at all, I don't know if I like this and feel like there is s hidden agenda to this. How would you feel about this? It pissed me off a bit for some reason! Anyway great video keep them coming!!! Have you tried Beaufort London Collection? You should try phantom V? My god! Talk about intense green notes! Cheers
I would never accept non clear glass atomizers. If they can't provide you with clear glass atomizers don't do business with whoever you're buying from. Glass always and clear always. Not even plastic. Never!! That's my two cents. Thank you for watching and commenting on this video! :)
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews I thought so, I did email them and they said they are waiting on more supply of the clear ones, I thought it was a bit odd, I buy from scentsamples and fragrancesamples which is owned by a guy who does what you do on UA-cam, he tends to give u more then you have asked for, they only do glass atomisers if you buy over 10ml, I only ever buy 2ml samples so I can try as many as possible until I have tried them all. I love encre noire by Lalique, and I like most of the escentric molecules fragrances, have you ever tried molecules? I think all the British business do the plastic atomisers, which is fair enough as I think the prices reflect this. I would love to go to a show with you sometime! Thanks buddy
Please mention the brand name coz in middle east perfume are having the same name from different brands for that we are confuse which brand u guys are smelling If we type abraaj in google so we could see how many abraj pop up
A few people are asking me but I'm not sure. I guess best to send them an email or contact them somehow? I hope you get to try them soon. Thank you for stopping by! :)
I send them an email via their website and the very nice customer service offered to send me sample set (with 5samples) for about 40 USD, if I remember correctly....
I know this may be late (3 years late), but you can open the top and slide down the “bowtie” which will then reveal the scroll. You don’t undo the knot 😂😂😂

I can't wait to try these! I just loved watching the beautiful Lauren's reaction to Oud, that was priceless.
One needs time to understand and appreciate the note of oud especially hindi. An amazing n magical note in perfumery.
i really like Turath from this house followed by meydan
The Oud starts off potent and a bit off putting but the dry down is gorgeous.
You two were too cute together...enjoyed your take on this fragrance house.
Fakhama is DOPE!!! Probably the best from the house.

Thanks for the review guys, had not heard of these. This duo should be a regular occurrence. So when either of you come to Australia...
If I ever get down under for sure! Will work for Australian wine lol
LolaScents hopefully visiting San Fransisco within next couple of years. Will work for nothing...

Her videos are great! I loved this collab guys!
You two are so good together. Please do more videos for us. We want to watch.
The first one (with coffee) sounds complex and unique. That is my favorite.
Very entertaining video! great job on the house overview! That Oud had major impact on you both lol. Funny reactions :) .

Nabeel? Who is Nabeel? lol...Nabeel is the house! Spirit of Dubai the Collection :)
Nabeel is both the mother company and one of their brands (like L'Oréal, Estee Lauder etc.) , Spirit of Dubai is another Nabeel owned brand.

Lola cracked me up!

Great video, and a great fragrance house. You should try Baz!
oh man the oud part was so so so funny!!!
It was the most potent and animalic oud we've both ever tried! :)
Great Review Thank you Sebastian!
My pleasure!

I see someone's eyes watering on the first fragrance and it ain't Sebastian LOL She told me that it was rather potent so I had to check out the video.
LOL!
Man felt like you were naming notes for 2 mins straight lol
Thanks Seb
Lola's reaction to "Oud"..😂❤
Nutmeg is retro. 70's. 80's
Please mention the brand name coz in middle east perfume are having the same name from different brands for that we are confuse which brand u guys are smelling
If we type abraaj in google so we could see how many abraj pop up
any idea wich is the "greenest" in tat line ? among meydan, bahar, rimaal , abraj etc
Oud is after 10 min verry good.
So good
Nice vid! Very funny one! :-)
wonderful
Do u think this line better than roja parfums?
Subbed and belled Lola .
Still can't get this sample set.
Would love too. Any ideas to where I can Sebastian ?
Very nice review,
A few people are asking me but I'm not sure. I guess best to send them an email or contact them somehow? I hope you get to try them soon. Thank you for stopping by! :)
Will do Sebastian.
You and Lola both have a safe and Happy Holiday weekend ahead.
You as well, enjoy it and smell great!! :)
I send them an email via their website and the very nice customer service offered to send me sample set (with 5samples) for about 40 USD, if I remember correctly....
I'll never understand why so many houses overuse the note of rose. I'd say the majority of men don't really want to walk around smelling like a rose.
In the Middle East, that’s the preference of men. They love Rose
Sebastian, I will realy appreciate if you could tell me from where I can get this sample set . Thank you
You'd have to contact them as I don't know where to get this. They gave it to me at a perfume show as I mentioned in the video! :)
I know this may be late (3 years late), but you can open the top and slide down the “bowtie” which will then reveal the scroll. You don’t undo the knot 😂😂😂
It's very very late yes! 😂😂😂
So much fun
funny video guys...am really interesting to try remal...
Sorry to say but this products are top quality, and expected a sensible review, didn't appreciate the clowning. Sorry sebastian.
What the heck is that supposed to mean? Clowning??
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews
I just know that Spirit of Dubai is a top tier company and I felt it deserved a bit focused Critique.
We were not reviewing we were offering our first impressions Gabriel! :)
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews
☑ check Sebastian!
That's a ridiculous comment!
Wanna Abraj and Bahar
I was waiting for you to say and. ..kitchen sink.
LOL! Almost! :)
Still puzzles me how people judge oud from the opening. You need to give oud at least 30 min and never smell from close up.
Then stop getting puzzled! You an control yourself not us! ;)
@@ThePerfumeGuy with all due respect, Sebastian (and I due respect your work) , this reply doesn't make much sense and comes across arogant.
I feel sad, that it’s a man’s perfume :(
