I just got this model, because it's so cheap now, less than $25 for a MG, wow just how cheap that is 😅. I love your job adding lines using marker, it looks more like the picture shows on its box. Yes, this MG looks soooo plain, so it's require the builder creativity to make it look more like "Gundam" itself. The hardest part is not to build it but to creatively re-paint it or adding marker lines 😂 Anyway it's a good video, thanx for showing us your lovely build with this gundam type.
Thanks! You're right about that, the true challenge is the detail work. For me it was a very satisfying kit. It's honestly one of my favorite MGs because of the fun I had making it and the effort I put in.
If I am to buy this kit, I have a feeling that I need some acrylic paint to thicken the hands, ditto for 1/100 high grades and other mid-'90s - early 200s MGs. I hope they reveal a 2.0 if only to compliment the respective MG and RE1/100 of the two hero suits from 0080: War in the Pocket (The Gundam NT-1 and Zaku II redesign)... P.S. Did you know that a storyboard artist of 0083 would go on to direct a feature film in another popular Japanese franchise (Macross Plus) and help create a TV show that was the complete antithesis of every other JP Sci-fi franchise (Cowboy Bebop)? (note: I edited this, because Shinchiro Watanabe didn't direct this series)
This kit definitely need some love like that. I really do hope the time comes for this kit to get the upgrade it needs! Though I do really like it for what it is. and oh I actually didn't know that! I hadn't looked into the staff behind the series.
@@EggkFarm Either acrylic or Citadel brand model paint. They should do the trick. I mean, with stuff like this and the 1/100 High Grade Wing/X line, you NEED to thicken joints with paint.
