- Hello Hatsune Miku simps-- I mean Hatsune Miku figure Collectors! 😬 I'm back with a brand new video about Hatsune Miku figure types! Let's talk about some Pros and Cons, possible figure price range, and details. Let's see what figure type fits you the best!
Now, I know a lot of people hate my content but I'm only doing what I think people might need especially if they are new to the hobby--- specifically into the Hatsune Miku figure collecting hobby.

Anyway, quick DISCLAIMER! I've been only collecting for 4 years but I don't own all of Hatsune Miku merch or Hatsune Miku figures out there. Today's content is just something I wanted to do with all the materials I have in an attempt to help you choose your first Miku figure type or to help you choose your Miku figure brand/shrine.
As you have noticed, I did not mention other specific Hatsune Miku brand and just mostly the one that are affordable because I have noticed that most of my viewers are middle class or students without income yet.
So to.summarize the choices you can buy Prize Figures from:
BANPRESTO - the usual figure scale is 1/8 but they also release 1/7 Choonky Mikus. not the best option out there but if you just want to build quantity as of the moment, you can start with this brand since they're one of the cheapest Hatsune Miku manufacturers out there

TAITO - they love Hatsune Miku so much they released a lot of versions and lines. Their two most popular are the SAKURA Miku line and the SEASONAL Miku line. Both lines are good for beginners due to price and availability HOWEVER TAITO is known for their expectations Vs reality work so just keep that in mind when choosing their brand ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
FURYU - they have a lot of Miku variants as well. They have the Bicute bunnies, the Cartoony versions, and their newest line, TENITOL. However, of all the lines for their middle class to cheaper figures, they widely known for their Hatsune Miku noodle stoppers ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
SEGA - hands down I BELIEVE is the best Hatsune Miku figure manufacturer for cheaper brands. The figure weight is good, it's not that easy to fall due to slight heaviness. The scales sometimes differ but they usually release 1/7 or 1/6 scaled figures which I think is the perfect size and they also look the closest to Hatsune Miku's Project Diva modules. Altho they're not the best in terms of paint jobs and extra details, I think they still win in the cheaper figure category

Altho if you like to experiment with taking photos or making videos, I think the best to choose from are the Nendoroid Figure Type or the Figma Figure Type. Both are under the articulated figure category and they're very suitable for toy photography or Motion videos

If you have a lot of cash to spare however, definitely go for scaled figures! Tho sometimes they don't look exactly like Hatsune Miku, they have the best details and paint job. ATM, I'm trying to focus more on collecting scaled figures. NOT THE BEST CHOICE for my dying wallet but hey. I'm giving it a shot still haha!
Scaled figures are usually produced by Goodsmile company, Union Creative, Max Factory, Myethos, PrismaWing, Estream and so on~ Different brands and Different Figure styles. you can just choose what brand you want to focus or just-- buy from all of the brands! Let's go burn some moneeeyyyy 😂😂

I started buying Miku figures before I listened to any vocaloid music or played any of her games pretty solely because of the variety of extremely cool designs they produce. Now I have dozens somehow
A lot of people did start collecting her figures before really got to know her character ☺️ either way, I'm happy more and more people like her again. Her figure doesnt fall short with variety. Con of that tho is--- almost every month she gets a figure announcement and it's bad for finance hahaha
As a mom with a 6yo that's collecting figures I'm glad I came across your page. She has a anime room and shelf with her figures! She is the only kid I know that legit enjoys collecting and looking at figures lol.

No she takes very good care of them and I help her when they need a little dusting. She is very responsible with them. I also help her when she wants to reorganize them.
Three Fate Saber, 7 sailor moon's, a few hello Kitty/kuromi things, 6 Miku, 5 card capture Sakura, and some others I don't know the names of if the to of my head. Mercari is a great place to buy legit but cheap figures.
AWWWWEEEEEEEE Omg I'm super happy to read this. You're a very supportive parent. I also have a kid, tho she doesn't have her own anime room yet. At the moment, she has her MLP collection and have been obsessing over Princess Luna. When she gets older I want to support her as much as you do with your baby 💖 for now, I've been gifting her plushies because I'm scared she might break a figure if I give her any. I definitely prefer scales, but i like the sega prizes too. My favorite is the Miku scale in her original design by Max Factory!
Same! Altho I love Hatsune Miku scales done by GSC, I love those scales done by Max Factory as well. Especially the shiny haired Miku figures hehe. Unfortunately, I don't have the original design tho 😭😭 there was no re release and I can't find one sold near me. :(
i’m a beginner collector & i honestly like prize figures the best (broke teenager things 😭) i love nendoroids too, one of my faves is the absolute hmo miku :D

Miku is not my favourite character, so i decided to buy just one figure of her, but then i failed and buy more things about her because Miku's figures are beautiful af! I'm also gonna buy her plushie too!
I mostly collect prize and Miku scale get higher price day by day, and i'm fine with it. I have a Taito Mermaid Miku at home and the quality and sculpt are great and detail.
True!! I think the TAITO AMP line will come out one of the best options in the future if they continue the quality. It looks good despite being a prize in comparison to other TAITO prize figures in the past 👌🏻 truthfully the mermaid figure looked really pretty and the pose was different! ❤️👌🏻 You made a good choice.

Scales for sure. Space is limited so I'm buying for quality. You sold me on both the Miku Expo 2019 Taiwan & Hong Kong and Symphony 2019 figures. Can't wait for the Rose Cage Miku but 2 years is a long wait
I'm happy for the release date tho. Atleast I'll have enough time to save money haha! I mean the rose cage is expensive af 😂 TOTALLY WORTH IT THO!!!

I loved this video! I personally prefer quality than cheaper, but sometimes I've bought cheaper figures. Also, I 'd like buy Hatsune Miku dolls but I think that it's not good idea. 😂😂 Right now I only have a Hatsune Miku nendoroid doll in my collection. 😁

What are your thoughts about the recent Miku Symphony figure? I'm currently thinking 50/50 which version to get. The new one up for pre order looks really really tempting but then the Miku Symphony with the music box also looks lovely. >.

All my Mikus are prize figures except for 4 Nendoroids and a Nendoroid Petite. I didn't know what the different types of figures were when I first started collecting a few years ago and now I have so many I don't have room for a Miku scale right now. 😅 Though I did pre-order the Rose Cage Miku for 2024 so I'll have plenty of time to make room for her.

If you're concerned about space and budget, definitely go for Banpresto, Sega and Taito. Nendoroids are good options as well but the market right now has unbelievable bonker prices like some Miku nendos got the same prices as scaled figures. W A T

I ADORE scale figures, but they just take too much space and money😭 plus I have cats that would DEFINITELY knock them off the shelves.
True! I'm just thankful there are not cats in our house. Dogs can be tamed but cats just dont give a single care haha! There has been a trend lately tho. Some figure collectors do custom acrylic bases for their scales to save space. It can't be done to most scales but to some, it will definitely help esp if the scales just got boring bases 🤔
I'm really broke, but even so I dream of starting my Miku figure collection, and I can say that at the moment if I could start my collection I would be far away from any GoodSmile Company figures hahaha 😂😂😂
I think the only figures from the company that I could actually afford are Nendoroids, So in this case my dream Nendoroid that would be a first step to start my collection would be the 300th Nendoroid, which is Hatsune Miku 2.0, cuz i love her bright silver shirt and the MASSIVE quantity of accessories that come with her 💕🥺
And I think if I could get my hands on her I would be the The happiest Mikufan in the entire world...🤲🥺

They are such cuties 😍😍 plus of All figure types,I think in the long run, you get your money's worth more compared to static figures because of the articulation and accessories. Different poses and face plates with just a single figure. 👌🏻
