I won't lie ....I have tried a few meal ideas they have tried. Hands down.....the best was toum. Freaking delicious and I love making it. I always cheers my food when I'm having toum in their honor. 😆

How far you two have come, from a little hut huddled in the cold and wind, to a fancy fishing cabin with curtains, heat, and a real bed!! That is the measure of success. You two are so fun, for Ariel's fish juggling to Eric saying to "close the lid on that tackle box so no one sees what we are fishing with" while showing his 824K subscribers what he IS fishing with, thanks for taking us along. My favorite part was the chocolate chip cookies and what lack of sleep did to both of you!
Watching her wrangle the fish in her arms like it was an unruly toddler was perfection! 😂😂😂 I too have zero idea how to properly hold a fish even though I've been fishing for 20 years, I don't generally pose with them but whenever I do, I look awkward AF! 🤣
It mainly depends on whether the fish have sharp teeth (or stingers of some kind, etc), and whether you're planning on keeping the fish (if you're throwing it back, you don't want to hold it in a way that will cause it to die).

I have watched your videos for several years now and have totally enjoyed them. Greatly saddened for the loss of your dog's. I am a dog person myself and at 73 have owned many of them. One thing that i wish to see is a cookbook of the two of you many creations. Well and maybe a Calander of your previous years many accomplishments. Happy New year Guys well done.

Here I will give you a couple tips … for the burbot use a whole smelt on a treble hook and dead stick it like 1 inch off the bottom …. Or a jig head tipped with half a smelt and thump it up and down on the bottom of the lake … they are bottom feeders … now the lake trout when using the big tube jigs tipped with whitefish or sucker belly’s you have to work the bait … drop it right to the bottom and bounce it off the bottom a few times then reel it straight up to the hole and just keep repeating that … lake trout love to chase and will attack … next thing is get a garman fish finder for ice fishing and they are not very expensive and will show you what is going on beneath you and what the fish are doing and what depth they are hanging around in .. lake trout fishing is some of the most fun around !! The little fishing hut is cozy. I would never have known about any of Alaska's fishing, ice or summer or spring fishing if not for your videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
Just a note about the audio. Eric's voice quality comes through well, but Aerial's voice is often muffled. A microphone might resolve that issue. I'd love to hear the full conversations. Thanks!
I also noticed that I am not hearing them speak as clear as before. But the music and surrounding sounds are loud and clear. Tried with and without youtube's stable volume feature. Glad to see I'm not the only one 😊
@@lmoten8611 For me, when they're not facing or near the camera, I sometimes cant hear them clearly. For example between 20:15 and 20:45 when they are outside on the lake. The engine is very loud, and their footsteps on the snow are louder than their voices. I often adjust the volume up and down during the video.
We are having trouble hearing as well. Been watching for a long time and love you both. We watch on tv and audio is really bad, up and down. Maybe you both could get those fuzzy Mic’s 😁😁

That's some fancy fishing when you have holes inside the ice house and can fish right from where you nap. Good idea though to rent the house and not have to pack so much gear. My grandma lived on. Beaver Dam lake, I have ice fished there a few times, we used a hatchet to chip through the ice. Good thing though was watching our 0:08 poles from the windows in the family room. All cozy in front of the fireplace, with Grandma making us breakfast. But it wasn't as great as watching our poles from the bunk beds. You two catch some beautiful fish. I can see many more trips to this place.💖💖

Just a note about the audio. Eric's voice quality comes through well, but Aerial's voice is often muffled. A microphone might resolve that issue. I'd love to hear the full conversations. Thanks!
I also noticed that I am not hearing them speak as clear as before. But the music and surrounding sounds are loud and clear. Tried with and without youtube's stable volume feature. Glad to see I'm not the only one 😊

I can hear them both in my phone. But, if I watch them on the tv - I can hardly hear their voices. I usually just watch on my phone so I can hear it.
@@lmoten8611 For me, when they're not facing or near the camera, I sometimes cant hear them clearly. For example between 20:15 and 20:45 when they are outside on the lake. The engine is very loud, and their footsteps on the snow are louder than their voices. I often adjust the volume up and down during the video.
We are having trouble hearing as well. Been watching for a long time and love you both. We watch on tv and audio is really bad, up and down. Maybe you both could get those fuzzy Mic’s 😁😁

That's some fancy fishing when you have holes inside the ice house and can fish right from where you nap. Good idea though to rent the house and not have to pack so much gear. My grandma lived on. Beaver Dam lake, I have ice fished there a few times, we used a hatchet to chip through the ice. Good thing though was watching our 0:08 poles from the windows in the family room. All cozy in front of the fireplace, with Grandma making us breakfast. But it wasn't as great as watching our poles from the bunk beds. You two catch some beautiful fish. I can see many more trips to this place.💖💖

Hello from northern Minnesota. I just got done cleaning a burbot. I usually cook them in 7up, I'll try Sprite next time.
