    Hi Lisa, I think what you're trying to express when talking about where to line one's lips, and saying not to crazy overline (well, maybe sometimes) but don't underline, is to draw the lip liner on what's called the "white roll" (plastic surgery term). The white
    roll is most evident on younger children and even on some older women, but it depends how naturally full one's lips are- it's on the very edge of the lip curl projection. :)

    the problem with the peachy lipsticks/gloss - they make your teeth look yellow... a little darker & blue-toned make them look super white which makes you look younger! It's a catch 22! People ALWAYS ask how I get my teeth so white when I wear a blue-toned darker lip... not DARK, but darker than nudes...

    Lisa, please tell me what sunscreen and moisturizer work well under your makeup??? It’s my biggest problem 💕💕💕

    • @alyshal417
      @alyshal417 9 місяців тому

      I have dry skin. Sometimes I skip moisturizer in morning and use sunscreen as my moisturizer before make up. If I do put moisturizer I use cetaphil redness relieving night time in the day. It says night but for me it’s light. I like Kroger shimmer sunscreen, gives a nice glow under makeup up and doesn’t make my eyes run. I like drmtlgy universal tint, smells funny but it goes away, the Korean sunscreens are really good, and wear under make up well. I have tried so many sunscreens, it takes time but once you find one you love that works with your make up, woo hoo. I decided to switch and find sunscreen I like for my skin and doesn’t make eyes run then tried with make up. I’ve heard good things about the R&R redifined but have not tried it. Happy sunscreen shopping!

      Oh and I’ve been layering the dr jart BB with spf on my sunscreen. It’s like a little more than a skin tint. Then colour corrector or concealer for age spots. I’m eye balling the moonstone shadow, bronzer and blush Lisa mentions. Now that I finally have my base figured out. I love your question on sunscreen! I’m always curious on what sunscreen works too under make up

      @@lisagoldman287 welcome! I only use tinted sunscreen. Neutrogena mineral tint is nice but the packaging really messy, worked under some make up but then didn’t work under other make up. Colourscience is nice tinted but too runny and expensive in my opinion. EltaMd didn’t work under make up. If you find a good one please let me know!

    Lisa, Tarte has a new mascara out and I think you might like it. It’s called tarte tartelette XLTubing Mascara Duo. I just ordered it on QVC and it looks amazing! I’ve ordered but haven’t received, but I am excited to get it! What makes it so special is it washes off with just water and the “tubes” just glide off, not breaking your natural lash. (Get 2 tubes for $32.98 plus tax & shipping)

    You look fresher and younger in the pre makeup clips 😊.....but also beautiful with the make up on.... I'm a make up addict myself of course that's why I'm here, however, when I see these before vs after makeup content , I always discover that beauty shows best with minimal makeup.... Congrats, I hope I'll look like you at 53.... I'm 49 now

    Lisa you look so pretty in this video. Your hair looks nice and full. I love it when you do makeup and discuss your tips. Makeup is fun and does make a huge difference if done right. I agree with the bright and darker lipsticks on older women. I think it makes them look older as well or they don't use enough blush. I have several slowly start to change to more nude looks or lighter colors and they look so much better. Maybe it is like I hate red lipstick - makes me feel like my lips are walking ahead of me. LOL. So maybe they feel a certain way with lighter colors. I was on Free People site and OMG they have the cutest things on there. I had to get this tank and hoping it is not too cropped. Several people said they were glad they ignored the reviews. It is the We The Free Caramel Tank. I did see pictures of people wearing things underneath it so I can put a longer, thinner tank underneath because that is not going anywhere. I had to get off of there before my wishlist got too full. Thanks for a nice video.

    Lisa J really likes Pillow Talk medium and wonder if you've tired that shade. I like the Iconic Nude very much and agree that lip liner can make a nice difference. I like to apply eyeliner pencil or sometimes even liquid on the under side of the top lash line for nice definition without taking up lid space. I think brows are very important to frame the face and the eye. Great video.
