My first comedy I watched from Ismo was the one with the word Noni. It was in Finnish, but it was translated and written in English underneath. I found it so funny that i Googled and searched for more. I like his shy Finnish humor.

It was about reasons to have one drink. It seems that finns always find a reason to have a drink, no matter what.
Last one that it is difficult to ask loan from a friend if need food or so but if you need to go to drink, the friend will offer without asking. Then that same friend if sees a drunken beggar on street, he wont give money because it goes to drinking anyways.
My translation doesnt make the joke justice but.... I tried 🤣🤣😎

Tuo juoman tarjoominen on kyllä jännä. Saattaa olla jo 5 ihmisen porukka ryyppäämässä, mutta pakko saada se yks rahaton lisää vaikka väkisin. "Täällä on sen verran porukkaa, että eiköhän sut känniin saada! Tänne vaan pitää hauskaa!". Onhan se sinänsä mukavaa, että pidetään kavereista sen verran huolta ettei tarvitse yksin kotona homehtua viikonlopulla.

Tuo nihkee lainaus paitsi jos ryyppäämään olit lähössä on kyl ihan oman kokemuksen mukaan käynyt. Opiskeluaikoina vuosikymmeniä sitten päivällä yritin saaha lainattua muutaman kympin ruokaa varten, illalla sama henkilö pyytää ryypingille seuraks ja kun muistutan että eihän mulla oo rahaa kun koitin lainata päivällä ruokaankin ni eiköhän heti liienny kaljan ostoon piffata.

Olin 10 vuotta absoluttisti mutta yhden kerran kun ostin jägermaisteria työ ja sen seurauksena saatuun stressiin ja vilustumiseen niin kyllä auttoi! Illalla ajattelin ettei ole kuumeisena töihin seuraavana päivänä mutta pikkusen jägermaisteria nassuun niin taas mentiin 7 am. Tosin kyseinen työ jäi aika pian historiaan kuitenkin mutta oikeasti jägermaisteria auttoi. Siihen loppui absolutismi.
Junnuna joskus hurjassa nuoruudessa tuli mentyä taksilla ravintolasta suoraan töihin aamuvuoroon. 😀 Silloin ei oltu pillin kanssa portilla. Ysärillä sai vielä lotrata töissä ja kaverit paikkasi.

Oot hauskempi ku Ismo. Mutta se ei paljoa vaadi. Ei suomesta oo valitettavasti tullu vieläkään kunnon stand up koomikoita. Jenkit hilannu riman niin korkealle. Tosin jos ei englannin kieli taivu kuulijalle niin sit kyllä jää paljon näkemättä ja silloin Ismo tai Sami on se jumala..

Ismolla taitaa olla tyyny paidan alla, jotta voi tehdä "kaljamaha-argumentointia".
