A huge hair hack that I would recommend is to not be afraid to use a hair straightener. I have really curly hair and before I started to use a straightener my hair would not stay in place for very long at all before becoming a huge curly mess. But now since I’ve started to use a straightener on my hair and it’s become easier to control and stays up longer. I don’t completely straighten my hair only just enough so that it still has a little wave to it and I think it looks great.

Having a high quality blow dryer (I use solano) and after styling clay settles I finish w a lite touch of grooming cream (kheils is what I use) and it maintains the hold all day VS having moments where my hair goes out of place.

Hack I found‼️ - Sleep with wet hair combed back, and wake up with hair stuck in that brushed back volume look.

  • @SkytopTheDancer

    love your black button-up!
anyways, a life changing hack for long sides that i figured was that if i wash my hair at night, and i blowdry it everywhere (just to dry it out, not to style it) the hair on the top will be ON the sides.. (it will probably look like a bowl cut or a middle part)
sleep with your hair like this and you will most likely wake up with flatter sides (this is especially really helpful to those from the straight hair community)
then you can just dampen the top of your hair and style as you would normally, without touching your sides as much
this is also beneficial for those who move a lot when sleeping, since sometimes these people wake up with their sides sticking upwards instead of downwards lmao
disadvantage of this is that the top of your hair needs to be a bit longer but still..
i hope this was helpful cause this is one of my best hacks and please give me a shoutout if this made it into the video joe! thanks ❤

Hack for amazing hair management and volume, as a guy with fine hair but a lot of it, if I have a special occasion and need my quiff/side part on point, I’ll wet my hair, rub some small amount of argan oil in solid form/paste and slightly more hair clay, distribute it evenly using my palms and afterwards comb it to the opposite direction of the side I’ll style my hair. Let your hair dry naturally (living in hot and sunny northern Australia helps a lot). Once hair’s dried, comb it over to the opposite direction and create texture by running your fingers through your hair in an upward and side motion. Finish of with some hair spray if desired for long lasting volume and texture. Style with ΜΕΡΑΚΙ : )

The thing that I always do is
After getting out of shower I dry my hair using a towel, not 100 percent dry, like 70/80 percent dry, then I use a comb and keep my hair back brushed then I stay under a fan for like 9/10 minutes, in that time I get myself ready like wearing my shirt and pant and everything else.... Then I just comb my hair in the direction I want which gives me a huge volume easily without any product..

If I've oversaturated my hair, and it looks too shiny, I use some sea salt spray to dampen my hair then blow-dry it. Not only does it no longer appear shiny, it has some fantastic volume.

From what i can see thick hair is best...it looks awesome and its easier to maintain than thin...i have thin hair for sure since level 15 hair gel from schwarzkoff cannot hold it up properly...my hair is the worst type because volume is insanely hard to maintain and not many hairstyles can suit you if you do not want too much time spent in your hair...thats all i know

If you have thick hair and use a clay/paste to style your hair, sometimes the natural volume, the poofiness, is hard to control and it just becomes hard to run your hands through because of the thick product required to style it. When your hair is damp, apply some pomade like you would any prestyling product then blowdry like normal. Once you add your finishing paste/clay, your hair will feel and look smooth and natural. I do this with O'douds pomade and matte paste and it works great!!

Hello Blumaan, please please help me out with this! This question is from one of your videos that was posted 3 years ago- Mad Men Inspired Hairstyle
When I try to do this Mad Men style with Pomade, I initially get the look, almost perfect, but when I go out my hair doesn't stay like that.
The air totally ruins it, what can I do?
Use Hair Gel in combination with it or what?
    Please say something

Best way to make ur hair shiny and a bit soft (Created by me) is to take a coconut oil serum by OGX and applied it on ur hair and leave it for a few hours (overnight would be better) and then use shampoo of Moroccan Argan creme and see the results. It’s worth a shot.

  • @DaveThaBossDTB

The one thing that no one has answered for me yet...
What styles can you do without a blow dryer? (I have no time to use one. Plus not a fan of the idea.)
I have used 3 different types of pomade. (Suavecito, Layrite, and SteelMclean.) All 3 harden if applied on damp hair turning you into a helmet. At the same time it is easier to style with while damp and holds alot better.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a water-soluble, does not ever harden, has very good hold, and styles hair easily for a comb-over/Side slick back (where you can actually see the lines. Instead of applying typical hair product while the hair is dry not creating any sort of definition in the hair.)

I like to brush my hair on the opposite direction and style it on the other direction. Like it just makes my hair have more volume and it doesn’t look as plain. 😁
Also a blowdrier is a MUST. I’ve often had people ask me about my hairstyle yet they refuse to buy a blowdrier Bc it’s too “feminine” 😓

BluMaan, you asked the viewers to comment their hair hacks. So, I am from India and a lot of people apply Onion Juice in our hair to make it soft and stimulate hair growth. MAKE A VIDEO ON IT. LOOKING FORWARD.
