the midnight are great but that only means you haven't heard Kalax before. They're from around the same time and Kalax is instrumentally divine. Listen to songs like Night Dreamer, Levitate, Savior, Not Alone (there's too many to list tbh).
In my opinion, The Midnight is the supreme when it comes to synthwave...
This song is a piece of magic to my soul, what a beautifull song, Kalax does it again this song is amazing, not only Kalax made a Beautifull song that he as the ability and talent to invite amazing guest vocalists to a certain kind of song, the voice of Anton Vic and lyrics fits perfectly in this song, what a voice, very chilling and melancolic but at the same time very dreamy and uplifting.
