Man listening to her makes me wanna ride the (4) train all the way to the LAST STOP in the Bronx. Her transfer and connection need to be heard more especially during overnight and weekend hours.
Nice to see you back. And nice to hear some of the Manhattan Bridge construction transfers for a long time. I don’t think I’ve heard those Atlantic Av/Borough Hall transfers since 2008 on one of the few trains that still had those old recordings installed. Hearing the transfer for the Grand St shuttle, I wonder if one was ever recorded for the short-lived 6th Avenue shuttle that ran in the latter half of ‘01. Thanks for posting. Happy Holidays.
17:36 yes my most favorite announcement of all time! *this is a bronx bound (4) train, the next stop is, 138th street- grand concourse. also welcome back mr railfan! goog to see u back and uploading
I really didn't know The 2002 {4} Train Announcements existed tbh it's very great right now to know they existed and the ''announcing'' sounds beautiful and dope to the ears.
I thought this was clickbait at first, but then my brain said "oh no, this was real" Thank you for this, I always thought the 4 train had Redbirds and R62's on them, but I was wrong
@RYAN AYALA there's no program to my knowledge, although I did see a N rerouted over 6th Avenue and then sent up Not in service to 145 Street to turn around. Probably the closest and N train came to going to the Bronx.
Oh yes, I love the R142As announcements back when Jessica was younger she did a good job. But I don't know why MTA replace the announcements on the Lexington ave with diane's announcement. (The next stop is)
The "This is a Manhattan Bound" announcement shown timestamped 4:58 and 5:22 are ALMKOST EXACTLY the same tone vocals. Did the MTA splice Jessica's announcements by adding "local" to it?
The 2000-2004 Next Stop sound works really well on the 5 Line, and it reduces dwell times on that line. For the 4 Line... Not so much, the updated Next Stop sound from 2004 onwards is better and it fits the 4 really well.
They put a diamond Q train! that's crazy and the 4 train only goes local in late nights and weekends to Woodlawn or Crown Heights Uitca Av rush hour to New Lots Av
Awesome video man I hate hearing Dianne Thompson’s voice on the 4,5,6 lines. Is mta going to get rid of Dianne’s voice off the 4,5,6 lines and reinstall Jessica’s “The Next Stop Is” & “ This Is” announcements ? I would love it if they did
Yes I'm planning on posting that in the near future. My next announcement video is a 6 Train video. Im also going planning to make a round trip 2013 program with Catherine's Pelham express announcements for the return trip.
The man, the myth, the legend is back, baby.
Jessica’s announcements are the best I wish they would bring her original ones back on the Lexington Avenue Line
She’s the best. I wish she were on all the lines. She’s got the best voice.
Man listening to her makes me wanna ride the (4) train all the way to the LAST STOP in the Bronx. Her transfer and connection need to be heard more especially during overnight and weekend hours.
I like her voice that I want to go to Woodlawn ; Crown Heights Uitca Av and New Lots Av
@@tmalone2530fr? She sounds messed up. MTA agreed and replaced it with Diane Thompson where possible
I love Jessica’s announcements too
I love Jessica's transfer announcements during rush hour late nights and weekends.
16:39 has always been my favorite announcement when I was growing up thank you for adding it
Agreed, I always heard this on the (6) when it had R142As.
4 train my favorite line announcement
100% fucking agree I would always hear that when I leave 86 street with my grandpa and my brother.

Foamers he's back... It's time to shine!!!

OMG Welcome Back Mr Railfan
Welcome back you must have probably spent those months and days on this video
I thought this was clickbait at first, but then my brain said "oh no, this was real" Thank you for this, I always thought the 4 train had Redbirds and R62's on them, but I was wrong
I did not know there was a Grand Street Shuttle, that is something I did NOT know about

OMG Your back it been so long that you didn’t upload
WÜUUUUU YOU ARE BACK IT HAS BEEN SO LONG, AS ILSOON AS I SAW IT I CLICKED
Thanks! I got more content coming soon
That can’t happen but there is a program for a Q train to Bedford park on the R46’s
@RYAN AYALA there's no program to my knowledge, although I did see a N rerouted over 6th Avenue and then sent up Not in service to 145 Street to turn around. Probably the closest and N train came to going to the Bronx.
An E train was sent to the Bronx before
@RYAN AYALA no I'm working on another IRT video currently
welcome back
Welcome back.
Yes you are back Mr. Railfan
Welcome back!
Welcome back
It’s good to see you back
Welcome back. I thought you quit
And welcome back Mr Railfan!.
Oh yes, I love the R142As announcements back when Jessica was younger she did a good job. But I don't know why MTA replace the announcements on the Lexington ave with diane's announcement. (The next stop is)
Heard they accidentally deleted her announcement
@xHomuran Fr
The MTA needs to delete programs they don't use and make more space.
The real reason is because they try to make the announcement shorter because of dwell times. Which is stupid. And sadly she retired
The "This is a Manhattan Bound" announcement shown timestamped 4:58 and 5:22 are ALMKOST EXACTLY the same tone vocals. Did the MTA splice Jessica's announcements by adding "local" to it?
Welcome bacc!
HES BACK
GRAND ST SHUTTLE TRANSFER AT BLEECKER POG
Holy Fuck
In 2016 I encountered a R62A 4 train in Atlantic Ave 3 times!
YOUR BACK FINALLY!!
*He’s BACK!*
Excellent work. Nice memories.
Since the MTA wants to remove Jessica's next stop announcement, the MTA should consider using the old one to reduce dwell times.
MTA been removed that
@@bullymaguire6168 Yea I know. They should've kept it.
YESSS YOU UPLOADED YAY
Glad to see you’re back
Wow very nice I gotta check this one for easter eggs very closely lol and nice video as always

Agreed it's nice to know the announcements exist.
Ohhhh u backkk
Omg the way she says the next stop is sounds really different
Yep! This was the original way it was announced before they updated it
@@MrRailfan They shouldn't have. It sounds more rough now.
@@jadenmuniz8817 it makes the 4 sound strong
I like the new next stop is better

He's back yay
when did they replace “the next stop is” to the current one?
Around 2004 to 2005. Then they replaced that one just recently with the one from the 2 line by Diane Thompson
@@MrRailfan There was actually a video of 4 train action in the bronx in dec 2002 and it used the current jessica "the next stop is"
@@MrRailfan it was actually around December 2002. I saw a video that was taken and it had the current ones in that old video.
@@MrRailfan but why did they replace the normal announcements with diane?
@@ppgenterprise7950 which video?
5:30 WOAH That's a good announcement
Too bad it doesn't exist anymore 😔
They put a diamond Q train! that's crazy and the 4 train only goes local in late nights and weekends to Woodlawn or Crown Heights Uitca Av rush hour to New Lots Av
Why was most of Jessica's announcment replaced?
This is going to the Best video list
I like it when Jessica says the next stop is crown Heights Utica Avenue

Where did the (W) Train go to in 2002 same route as today?
It was a hybrid of today's D and N lines. It ran from Astoria to coney vis west end. It ran via lower Manhattan late nights and weekends
oh yeah boys ITS FUCKING FOAMING TIME YO!! (also hi mr railfan)

9:28-9:42 made me melt
These original announcements were phased out by the late fall of 2002.
The old one is more come the new one is hype
Can you do the original (6) train announcements to Pelham Bay?
Yes I'm planning on posting that in the near future. My next announcement video is a 6 Train video. Im also going planning to make a round trip 2013 program with Catherine's Pelham express announcements for the return trip.
