RIP the two members of The Whitlams Stevie Plunder (August 15, 1963 - January 25, 1996), aged 32 Andy Lewis (June 16, 1966 - February 12, 2000), aged 33 You both will always be remembered as legends.
Just looked this up to send to my bestie. I'd forgotten how appropriate it really is. We left my car at a gig after we'd made friends with the bands friends and I drank way too much from nervousness at the thought of meeting Tim 🤣💕🎶
One of my all time favourite songs! Played it on repeat many many times and still know the words, so easy to sing along to ❤ I was reminded of it today when I was listening to You're Welcome from Moana.
I got right up the front in Adelaide and was hype as. One of the best days of my life. Hopefully will see them again. I walked past backstage and gave a wave. I was happy to get a little thumbs up from Jak. ;) Made my year.
@@LukeFennell They make ant venue amazing. I rarely buy tickets to shows. But there are a small number of bands I love. These guys got me through my jockey training, my downfall, my climb to be the person I am now. I thank them very much. Have a fantastic time Luke. Get up the front. I found it hard to get through to the front but luckily a chain of good looking girls walked through and just pushed people out the way (pretty rudely) I definitely am not in the ''attractive'' basket but two nice ladies said for me to ''follow your friends!'' I looked back and said '''I have no friends'' (tragic losses) They looked at me and these two big women pushed me to the front. I was so happy. I went alone but I felt my friends were still with me. Anyway just a little story about my amazing experience. :)
Arfeelaik, going for a drive....without, the entourage....aaaand stalkers....following from behind....stirring t.r.o.u.b.l.e. with the locals....radelaide......a "hold my drink, watch this"....moment....if, only for the weekend..... aaaand the cost.....😮
Well my dad's dad played ragtime maybe one of your songs is like that. Apparently that man was more physical in his expressions of anger with other humans like nana.. It wouldn't surprise me if he also did some writing to inspire the songs because he fancied himself capable of that and expected is be able to sing and he can't quite connect up why i might feel too shy to sing. My Mum perhaps thinks miserable people can make the most beautiful art but married someone who never seems to get down.
