  • It's time to start being more intentional about being more mindful in your everyday life. This means directing all of your attention and awareness to the present and learning to be present in the moment. There are so many benefits to your emotional and physical health, as well as to the relationships in your life. Practicing mindfulness helps you to live with greater purpose and more happiness.
    This short 5 minute guided meditation helps you to pause, purposefully relax your body and engage with the present. It helps you to focus consciously on your breathing - a self-healing technique that helps people to access the full potential of their breathing system for better physical, emotional and mental well-being. Research has shown the way we breathe has a powerful effect on how stressed we feel.
    Tips on how to bring mindfulness into your everyday life:
    1. Practice mindful eating and pay attention to each bite that you're taking. Chew slowly and savor the taste of your food.
    2. Be mindful in your interactions with those around you; your partner, children, and colleagues. This is about observing what the other person is doing in a non-judgmental way and about staying present in the moment during your conversations.
    3. Engage in activities mindfully by focusing on the present moment, tuning into physical sensations, and being fully aware of everything you do.
    4. Pause throughout the day. Mindfulness techniques such as meditation and yoga are helpful with more time, but you can also make it a habit to focus on your breathing as soon as you feel upset or anxious. Breathing techniques can have a calming effect and help you stay grounded in the present moment.

      We are here for the same reason. Don’t feel alone. Stay at home mom here, looking for work even though I want to stay with the babies a little longer. I’m crying too. I send you a hug from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
