Hi there I have a slip tank in my truck and would like to put this box behind the tank. Would is sit over top of the wheel wells without hitting? It looks like it would in your video. Thanks
Not that I’ve really tried to think all the way through about different types of materials that could be used in place of plastic or the reasons why it hasn’t been used, but I wonder why they don’t make things like this toolbox out of G 10. In fact I can’t think of anything besides knives that use G 10 and it seems like G 10 is a very dense material that could work well for things such as a toolbox in the back of a truck. Maybe it’s just too expensive to make anything larger than a knife handle with.

Nice box....and review. While you certainly didn't have much in that tool box, I found it interesting that the lid was heavy enough that the base of the box tiled back when you opened it.
A valid question here that should be asked… Does the tool box work in combination with the actual Decked System that lays flat along the length of the bed with the sliding drawers? With both fit together or is it one or the other?
Per their website! It is only compatible with an 8' bed. I'm currently looking at getting both unit's for a newer truck and thankfully I ordered it with an 8' bed. But check out the website for all the info

When trucks are so high now you need a ladder to reach the bed/ tool chest. I can see the use for those that are vertically challenged. 👍
