A demonstration to show the range of sounds of the brand new BOSS OC-5 Octave.
The guitar recordings in this video have been made with a Marshall MA50C, picked up with a Sennheiser e609 and enriched with stereo chorus, delay and reverb to add ambience.
The BOSS Loop Station was used to save the original sound without the tube amp and additional effects. I made separate line recordings and you can find these on my website soon. You can send these mono recordings to your own guitar amp to get an idea how the BOSS OC-5 could sound with your setup.

Ein Demovideo, um das Klangspektrum des brandneuen BOSS OC-5 Octave zu demonstrieren.
Die Gitarrenaufnahmen in diesem Video wurden mit einem Marshall MA50C gemacht, abgenommen mit einem Sennheiser e609 und angereichert mit Stereo Chorus, Delay und Hall, um den Klang räumlicher zu gestalten.
Die BOSS Loop Station wurde benutzt, um den Originalklang ohne den Röhrenverstärker und die zusätzlichen Effekte zu sichern. Ich habe separate Line-Aufnahmen damit erstellt und ihr könnt diese bald auf meiner Website finden. Diese Mono-Aufnahmen könnt ihr dann an euren eigenen Gitarrenverstärker senden, um einen Eindruck davon zu bekommen, wie der BOSS OC-5 mit eurem Equipment klingen könnte.

This is a really magnificent demo. That left-right split for us all to really hear how the lowest range interacts with those chords and lead lines... just marvelous work. Thank you!

That lowest setting is really damn cool. Seems to work very well

It does. It just depends what you are playing. If you play chords without the root note as the lowest note you can sometimes get undesired results. But that's a problem of the player and not the fault of the OC-5. :)

how about the latency? hasnt o is noticeable

Overall the latency is ultra-short, as it was in the OC-3 already. Both models are digital, but the sound processing is almost immediately there. It's honestly impossible to be noticed.
