hello really compliments for the video. I have the same plate as you, in your video, at minute 5:10 I can't remove the screw, what can I do? Thanks, Orlando.

Hi. This screw is in a metal nut. Carefully try to heat the head of the screw with a soldering iron. There is plastic around it, you have to be careful not to melt it. Put a screw-loosening spray on it both before and during it. I hope it works.

Just picked up an Aiwa ad-6300 and the ffw and rewind work, but play doesn't. The drive wheel is stationary. You can hear the motor. I believe it's something to do with a captan requiring a sleeve putting over it to drive the mechanism. Looks a pig to get to though!

You can see the main fixes in this video. The playback does not work, the belt may be a problem. Or some idler.

Hi, here I am again asking you for advice, I followed your video carefully and I did everything exactly.
Now I have a problem with the rewind, forward and play buttons, they don't lock anymore.
That is, when you press them they don't lock. What could it be? Thanks, Orlando.

Hi. This will be difficult for me to say. I also had this error, but it is usually due to incorrect installation. Well, look at the stop button. Also, the part of the mechanics where the stop button operates the metal parts. Maybe a spring is out of place or the metal part is stuck. A little cleaning and grease. It is also possible that if this part was taken apart, something was wrongly rebuilt. Also, look at the moving part of the pause button. It can also be caused by the fact that the buttons do not remain pressed.

Thank you infinitely, can you tell me where the mechanical part is located where the shot takes place to keep the play, rew, f.fwd/cue stuck? Thank you very much?

Hey! I’m thinking about buying a AD-6600U to repair, do you know if the internals of this model are similar enough to that model? If so, this video would be incredibly helpful!

Hi! The mechanics are almost identical, as are the electronics, obviously the 6600 contains more units.
