- Raíces Vivas shows us in this video three intangible heritages where fire becomes the protagonist. In the Pyrenees, the fire of the fallas illuminates the shortest night of the year; in the furnaces of La Granja (Segovia), fire transforms matter giving life to glass; in Berga (Barcelona), 100 devils full of fire perform their infernal dance.
The first fire that humans lit in a cave is the same fire that now illuminates us. Its flames have warmed us, have fueled revolutions, devoured books and listened to a thousand stories told around it. Fire has always contained us in its memory.
