I am pregnant and have been craving Korean food. This is torture 😭
Your next video should be “flying a pregnant woman to Korea and feeding her delicious food”
I'd make you some homecooked korean if I could get it to you!!! Hang in there
You have to find some local korean food and stat!
Haha 😆 I’d make it for you if I could...my dad works part time as a pro chef in Korea and taught me everything he knows
Omg I feel you, I have some pregnancy cravings for korean food too. 😭
@Dionysus D.
Thanks 😊
zoey really said : f*ck those 24hours challenge im gonna go for 72hours
we stan 👑
🤣 go big or go home grandma OK would be proud
24 hours that only like 3 delivery meal lol, 3 days is more of a challenge style

you don't have to deserve food
just eat it
We have a very strict recycling regulations in South Korea :) I did sort out everything following the guideline like I usually do! But still... that was a loooot of garbages and will try not to use it as much 😊 Thank you for the concerns❤️
Edit: I've deleted the part where I showed my location on a map. I thought blurring it would be enough... but seemed like some could recognize it still. Thank you for pointing it out!
I was wondering about that when you said you had to throw stuff out
@Reactthing Do you need to be korean to register to those apps?
@@rb2807 I don't think your ethnicity matters. You probably just need to be in Korea to download them or something
@@naritruwireve1381 trust me, you need a korean ID just to play league of legends. Some app have restrictions, better to ask in advance
@@rb2807 oo you don't have to be korean to make a Korean id. I believe on iOS, you create another id with Korea as the country, and for Android if you can't switch the country, install a VPN, set it to Korea, disable the play store, then search for the app
Still a thousand times better than school lunches will ever be 😠
AFAICT, Korean and Japanese school lunches are fantastic. Freshly made and nutritious.
American school lunches are made affordable simply because they're based around corporate sponsorship. Get kids hooked early by feeding them (lower grade) Pizza Hut™ and Pepsi Co. ™ Orange-flavoured Drink. And milk that is subsidised by the gov't, so they need to feed as much of it as they can to the schools. 😓
@@Acidfunkish I have never seen any brands in a school. O have heard that back I the 80s it used to be for the older kids. Now however, it is provided by companies that adhere to the health guidelines laid out by the federal and state governments.
Tldr; we wish. The shit we had was tasteless and the only saving grace was sometimes they had cookies of Mongolian chicken bites. Even the pizza was tasteless.😱
The only relief was the vending machines....which were replaced with caffeine and sugar free drinks. 🤢They were discussing removing them when I graduated.
@@Acidfunkish also...we only had milk provided. I should mention the chicken bites and vending machines were for high school. 15-18yrs.
Everyone younger is stuck with the nasty and tasteless but...healthy (?) Food.
You probably mean american school lunches as korean and japanese school lunches are amazing.
@@Acidfunkish american adult. this is very accurate. in the 80s i thought pizza milk and tater tots were the staple of a healthy meal. Luckily we can bring our own lunches so I could start bring soup in thermoses and fruits and veggie for snacks
When my mum went on holiday I did this every single day lol even for breakfast. Good days

Delivery in the US is so much more expensive. Dominos for example requires a minimum of I believe $10-12, plus the $3 delivery fee, and taxes
Plus tip
I use DoorDash and the cheapest item, including tip, is $12 and above. 😓
@@ppjskh I haven't used DoorDash yet even though it's new and very popular in my area. I still like going and getting my own stuff lol
Well in Australia we have to pay $15 for the pizza and delivery is $5...
Ok but Morbus, pizza here in Korea is really expensive. It's like $21-$25 for a regular size pizza from Dominos. -_-
Bro you're practically eating out for 72 hours but at the comfort of your home 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'm so JELLYYYY

I love how Mom censored the knife
Like no youtube this is family friendly content dont demonetize me
Korea does that on their telly like the fake tv knives in dramas etc but they dont blur guns etc 😂😂😂 AND when its a cooking show they dont blur them. Its super weird.
@@EmmaAppleBerry
Imagine if they were blurred on cooking shows tho
On a lot of Korean shows, they censor cigarretes and other things like that also
@@niyan9957 Lol ikr how funny i think its just absurd they censor them at all. Like when they show guns gunshots people dying like its not like theyre kids shows are they if its at a timslot after watershed (after kids are in bed) and cleatly adult programming and has swearing and violence and baseball bats crowbars etc then why blur to begin with let alone knives !? the funniest thing though is they dont blue like samurai swords or anything like that from joseon type dramas and yet they blur your basic swiss army knife. Its so ridiculous is takes you right out of the story and in the usually most tense scenes when the knoves are out i jut end ip laughing and thinking how stupid it is that theyre blurring fake rubber knives in a fake tv show for adults when they dont blue anything else its mental
EmmaAppleBerry Agreed, I’m always cackling when that happens. It’s just so funny. When the scene is supposed to be serious and tense and then you see the blurred knife. 💀
Food looked bomb, and how convenient that they can deliver to outside any location. I mean come on, spontaneous picnic or party, who wouldn't enjoy that and I would totally be that person and offer to treat💸💸💸

Zoey: “How does our delivery service differ from your country.”
Me in New Zealand: yours works. Lol
Lol and their food looks edible.
$4 is expensive for delivery?! here in america, it is usually between $7-$20. it's so interesting to see the differences. all of the food looks so good too!
Meh, in Indonesia it's only $1 to $3.
@@rara.raaaaa in algeria it's only 1 dollar to 3 dollars
@@rara.raaaaa same here in the Philippines!
Most places on Spain I order is for free even more if you pay 10€ up. I don't order from places that charge delivery fee because with that money I would spend on more food instead. XD
In Switzerland it's 20-30 :o that's why I rarely do delivery service. And here you can only order burger, fries, pizza and kebabs. 😭
“He recalls having about two or three near-death experiences on the road, and about three accidents, but was lucky enough not to have been seriously injured. “There were many times when there were more than 10 orders waiting for me after getting back from a delivery, so I would try to make three to four deliveries at a time,” Shin recalls. “It was protocol for me to ignore turn signals, drive between cars and speed unnecessarily fast in narrow alleyways.”
The downside of “bali bali” culture in Korea, so many delivery men on the road having to rush back and forth to meet the insane demand. I don’t even think they make a decent wage either. :(
Most of the deliverymen are 알바생, part-time workers which makes it even worse. It's strange how you're legally allowed to drive a motorcycle before you can actually drive a car in Korea.
Best line ever, "No, my butt is bigger than that".
Omg a free soda, the US could NEVER 😭😭😭
Even if something is labelled as free. You are still paying for either half or 3/4of the "free" item
In korea you get alot of free stuff. I got 2 bags of ground beans and a cone of ice cream (one per person) for free
Us would never

You mean 7:55😅
Woooowwww Korean delivery is out of this world. Here in the U.S your food gets stolen by post mates 😭😂
That actually happened to me once by door dash. The manager of the restaurant was nice enough to remake it and deliver it for me again. Never ordered from there again.
Just Grubhub now.
I would eat delivery all the time too if I lived in Korea 😋
Right? I would die for korean food
Same. lol It looks amazing.
I would gain so much better weight haha
When I lived in Los Angeles food delivery was VERY common. Mostly due to traffic and parking issues (most places you have to pay $ to park). I even had some friends who would order delivery because they didn’t want to lose their street parking spot by driving to a restaurant (parking is a big problem in LA)! Now I live in Minneapolis and it is still common - mostly due to the cold weather and people not wanting to go out in the snow.
Parking in LA 😭
Traffic in LA 😭
Rent in LA 😭
I need to move 😭
Definitely. I order delivery, walk (lots of places nearby) or take a quick bus ride (not reliable, but the best option besides driving)
I just hate that Canes here in Minneapolis (and many other places) are like a $6-13 delivery fee or more. Some places have cheaper rates but delivery here is expensive!
Sam Postmates and DoorDash are the two I use. I live near downtown and it’s STILL that expensive for certain restaurants
Sam lucky duck! I miss going to school over there. I’m less than two miles away but it’s still like 30+ min by bus. Canes is a favorite and going to the U got me hooked 😭🥺
"If I have a food in front of me, I'm going to eat it. I don't go like UHMP that's enough for me and strop there... I'm not a psychopath."
Hands down the most relatable sentence I have ever heard. I laughed so hard and long it still hurts.
When she offered the share her apple with the squirrel 😭❤❤
i dont know why but your English sounds so ... pure. I can listen to you talk all day lol.
Getting chicken and Tteokbokki delivered to Han River is one of the things I miss most about Korea
나도 빙수 먹고싶어ㅠ
Sometimes I wish we had this kind of convenience in Germany 🥺 Here, if you want delivery food you must live in a relatively big city to even have a good choice of restaurants but you still got to order over 10/15€ per delivery 😔
Grocery delivery service is not common here.
So in the end we still need to go to the supermarket by ourselves, cook for ourselves and only on special occasions we would actually use delivery services to order food 😣 Also it would still take 45 mins to 1,5 hours to get the food 😂
I want to be her friend so bad... I don't know why, she just seems like the most relatable type of friend lmao
“Is it though....” *DUN DUN INTENSIFIES* 😳😳😂
I love the vlog styled videos you make, they feel really well thought out and they’re fun to watch 🥰
Thank you so much for making videos like this. It's so interesting to see how different countries operate in simple things like, take out and delivery. Sooooo cool that you can order shaved ice, so so so so cool. I think if you tried to order frozen anything here for delivery they'd just laugh in your face lol.
I live in San Francisco and we have lots of foreign food lol. It’s not uncommon to order stuff like shaved ice here hehe
you right about Korean has the best packaging and service in delivery order. I'm literally surprised by the stroberry bingsoo like.. WOAH. the wrapper is very safe and leak-proof. If it's in my country, surely the bingsoo will be strawberry milk. haha #true
they even send food to somewhere that is not in the middle of nowhere. lol
Me a broke ass who can’t even afford Ramen: Omg yes girl. Spend that coin and enjoy your lifeeee
the clip on 0:27 looks like a shot from a surgery lmao, loved the video tho, as always, one of the places I practice my Korean at is your channel!! I try not looking at the subtitles and just listen to you talking with your grandma or friends and I actually understand a lot, I'm so happy, you're one of the people that help me practice Korean ❤️ lots of love from Poland!
In Dubai the delivery is almost the same as Korea, there are some expensive restaurants but most of them are affordable.. plus there's always offers and discounts on restaurants in the applications. The delivery range is pretty wide! Like when we go camping outside the main city in the desert and we don't feel like taking food with us to cook there we can order from the apps despite being far from downtown Dubai.
As far as delivery in America goes, having food delivered outdoors isn't really a thing here. Domino's Pizza had a system called "hot spots", where you could have food delivered to popular spots in your town, for example a particular spot on the beach, or a popular public park. I don't know if they still have that option, and you couldn't simply drop a marker on the app to show where you are. That's a good system, but I don't think it would work in America. Too many crazy people and criminals would use it to lure delivery drivers to dangerous areas and rob them. Restaurant managers would not refuse delivery to known dangerous areas, putting drivers at risk or forcing them out of their jobs.
well a lot of the places you can order from in Korea have you pay before by card, so maybe they don't have to worry about getting robbed
I haven’t ate my dinner yet 😭 and I’m starving by watching this
Hi, Zoey! I'm Mexican, of course, I live in Mexico, specifically in Mexico City, the capital. Food Delivery has become a thing in the past two years here, is not that developed as in South Korea but it's pretty functional. Rappi, Uber Eats, Sin delantal are the most popular ones. It's not that fast... an order usually takes 30 to 45 minutes to arrive at your place, also you can only get delivery at a building. I'd love to have delivery in a park or in the middle of nowhere but for safety reasons (for the delivery guys and girls) that is not possible yet. We have lots of things to figure out before we can have the quality level of delivery you have. But we have way too many options near us (the city is full of little street food stands everywhere). It only takes a ten-minute walk or less to get to a taco place for example.
I really love your videos, I love your grandma and I think you have really good content and you are awesome explaining everything. Keep the good work! If you ever wanna come to Mexico I'd love to be your guide! ❤
Something about your personality is just very cute to me. I think maybe cause you always greet us with "Hi kids~" it makes me so happy to watch your videos. And you're funny! I really enjoyed learning about Korean delivery culture! I love Korean food and really liked that you guys can get delivery while outdoors. Thanks for sharing!
As always I learned a lot! My stepmother is Korean, but of course she made us homemade Korean food. And even that I know she tailored to our sensitive young american palettes. It was very interesting and surprising to see what Korean fast food and delivery food is like. I'm vegetarian now so the salad was all I could eat out of it, but it all looked beautiful. Omg the delivery fees where I live with the apps available are anywhere from $5-$15 and then we have to tip on top of that.
Serpentinite same same ... for now I choose to drive to the location because of that. The fees and tip are like 2/3 worth of my gas tank. I have a small car lol
I only use uber eats or skip the dishes (the two delivery apps we have in the GTA) when I am being paid to use them by which I mean where I use them for a mystery shop. It’s just too much of a hassle and most places I order from can be walked to within 20 minutes.
Then go get yourself they have to wait for your food use their gas and their car wow
Mary Suniga idk if you’re talking to me but if you are. Yeah that is what I do and the whole reasoning behind why I don’t use these apps. Walking to it myself is faster and cheaper.
@@marysuniga1157 Was merely commenting how insanely different the pricing is. I don't use those apps often unless I'm really sick and don't have food. I get why it's priced the way it is where I live, but where she lives is startling different. "Wow"
