SmallRig: New VB99 Pro Battery, ultracompact 60W LED, Smartphone Cage

SmallRig has brought some new accessories to IBC 2023: In our interview clip, we take a look at the new Pro version of SmallRig's popular VB99 battery, which is supposed to feature a stronger housing and better parallel power output, and more. We also found the new RC 60B COB LED light interesting, which should be one of the smallest 60W lights with an integrated battery.
In addition, SmallRig has also brought a new smartphone cage to Amsterdam, which should be of interest to smartphone filmmakers with various grip and accessory mounting options - especially if you also want to record to external SSDs - as should be possible with the new Apple iPhone 15 Pro for example.

What would be even greater is seeing dual D Tap inputs. Any way to slap that on somewhere?

Ok, so the ‚old‘ VB99 - marketed in 2022 - dropped voltage when used with multiple devices. Which in fact means the product was faulty. So a year later we have a Pro version - Pro meaning you can actually use it for its V-mount purpose - and it costs €300-350. I have a lot of Smallrig products which I like. But this? No thanks.
