Omg this was so helpful I have been trying to become a good Custom E-Liter 4K Scope main forever now and keep getting splatted and now I understand why thank you so muchhhh ❤❤❤
I know it’s a weird take, but I simply refuse to run respawn punisher in solo queue because it functions to make the game less enjoyable for others by minimizing their play time and I don’t want to contribute to that. In a tournament, I’ll use it, but not in solo queue.
I main the .52 Gal as well!! I think my history with the Gal helped me be more confident in playing aggressively with the e-liter, so I totally recommend it! It's definitely a fun weapon :)
A super helpful guide!! I can't play the E-liter for the life of me xD (having 6 kills and less than 10 deaths already has me popping off) but these tips are making me wanna give it another shot!
I'm a eliter/charger main trying to get out of S rank and I appreciated the commentary so much! I try to watch games from better players to see if I'm positioning well and taking proper advantage of my range, but lately not many players upload charger games.. Pointing out the mistakes is also very helpful! Thanks a lot. Edit: oh! and if you do upload more charger content I'm totally here for it.
Really great video with a lot of important info! I hadn't thought about many of the things that you mentioned, I'll do my best to incorporate your tips :) Thanks for making this! One thing I was wondering if you've considered: Without Ink Saver (Main), the 4k can do 4 fully-charged shots without refilling ink. 10 ability points will bring you up to 5.05 shots, 9 points will bring you to 4.96 (not quite enough but not bad), and 12 points will bring you to 5.22. I personally like running 4 subs of Ink Saver, that way I get 5 shots that I can use standing on an area that doesn't refill my tank, and still have a bit left over to ink the ground in case I need to get away or whatever. That also saves my 3 main abilities for other things. I just feel like less than 9 points of Ink Saver is pointless, and more than 12 points is a waste of space because you need like 22 points to get to 6 shots.
Wow this video made me want to try the e liter i normally use the splatana wiper but this made me want to try the e liter. Btw I’m 11 years old and I love watching your videos 😊
I picked up e-liter this season. Could you talk about good positions to stand in each map and mode (ruleset) and good places to put beacons and mines. For example, on Gorge, I like to put mines between Ramp and Choke. On Humpback, I put a beacon next to Stairs and the low point near Window.
I'm normally more of a frontliner (sploosh main) but I've recently started playing more midrange and have taken a liking to stringers. Any tips for stringer? I also wouldn't mind some frontline tips since I haven't gotten past A rank
im honestly watching this as an aerospray main just to see if this will help with anything since theyre both technically backline thanks for the guide edit: it might seem crazy what i’m boutta say,,
Ad another (former) Aerospray main......why would you play backline? I just play it like I play the sploosh mostly. It's actually pretty good for flanking if you move right
okay wow i had comment notifs disabled for a while yes i was genuinely convinced it was backline i found it wasnt the hard way. sorry gang i know it was only 4 months ago but i swear ive become slightly less dumb in that period of time
i should also mention i thought the aero was WAY worse than it actually was. i thought it was only good at painting and nothing else. i think i gotta work on my thinking patterns, or something 😞 calling myself dumb is a bit harsh but i cant help but feel like an idiot!!!
@@turntechgoghead it's all good g splatoon is learning by doing. Maybe the term you were thinking of was anchor if you're good at moving an Aerospray can be a good anchor while cutting enemy players off from moving even in ranked
What of this stuff applies to the scoped versions?, I prefer all the scoped versions all the characters accept vanilla/order charger, so I would like to see a video on the scoped versions or knowing what applies to one or both versions of the scoped E-liters vs normal E-liters.
I won't lie, I don't play scope unless I accidentally picked it, haha, but as far as I've used it, most if not all tips should be applicable! There is a difference in range and flexibility between the two, but the primary importance of aim, engage, and survive still applies! However, there may be more subtle differences in specifics so thank you for the suggestion! It's an interesting topic I hadn't thought of, so I will look into it :)
I can usually take out a scoped variant because they can't see me when I change position. I'm low level, so this may change at higher levels. (For example, better map use might mitigate this.)

i’m just starting to get into e-liter after maining squiffer for a few months, this was very helpful! thank you!
same lol I got almost 4 stars on squiffer and switched to e-liter

It makes me way angrier than it should when i see an aerospray or sploosh running it lol
Based!! I also do the same
I usually run with the .52 Gal but this makes me want to try the E-Liter, it seems pretty fun.
