    Hi Chris, I fished that exact swim Sunday 13th October 2019, the conditions were perfect and I managed to land 23carp just in a day session up to 18lb 9oz, incredible day and great value for money. Highly recommend Todber Manor to any carp fisherman.

    Another great video mate 👍 we all need to fish a runs water now and then, not always about catching the biggest fish just about enjoying yourself. Good call on the little change certainly helped 😀

    Another enjoyable watch Chris. As simple as the loop to loop connection is, it's something I've always wondered about and how you go about changing rigs so quick. Good to finally see it.
    Where is the bait boat!? I've been waiting to see you using it!

    • @MrCarpking71
      @MrCarpking71  6 років тому

      Cheers buddy. Yeah its dead simple the loop to loop method. Bait boat only been out once so far. They are allowed on this water but it wasnt warrented on this session.

    Chris........ I’m missing your frighteningly quick spin arounds/ turn arounds to the camera! Dedicate on to me will ya mate??? Haha. Don’t blame you for fishing a runs, unbelievable what the pink corn did for you. Tight lines.

      Thanks, looking forward to your next video.
      Do you find sometimes that the stress of having the backlead bumping down the line when playing a fish can cause them to come off the hook? Lost 3 in my last sesh, just beating myself up, trying to figure out why. I’d rather use backleads though, reduces line problems with other rods. Cheers

    Good video it's not all about fishing big lakes with big carp, as long as your catching fish your doing well💪💪

    Hi there Chris,I’ve only just recently discovered your channel with great pleasure of watching you and your pals living it up on the bank trying to catch some carp🤗 I went down to todber last mid Marchfor 48hrs but blanked on big Hayes,most people did to be honest.but what annoyed me was having travelled nearly 5 hours to get therewas that people were spodding shit loads out!!!!! All though I want to return I ask you which is the best month to go down in your opinion? Tight lines buddy Dan✊️

    • @MrCarpking71
      @MrCarpking71  6 років тому +1

      Thanks for tuning in dan glad you're enjoying my/our efforts. Whrn it comes to todber to be honest i dont think there is a perfect month as its one of those venues thats always busy. You must of got unlucky coz most people know the hayes lakes are not spodding waters. I think there only 4 swims i would actually spod on... two middle open water swims and the 2 far end. Im already got a session booked on big hayes in august... i think its just pot luck to be fair who on same time as you.

    Hi Chris love your vids, I am new to carp fishing and fished Big Hayes today "Sat 8th" only caught what might be a prussian or crucian carp? not sure as never caught one before but it was sliver in colour and weighed 6lb 2oz, also can I ask how often to leave the PVA bags out in the swim before replacing them if you don't get a bite?

    • @MrCarpking71
      @MrCarpking71  6 років тому

      Cheers buddy. If im happy with my spots and happy with how they landed then as a rule I'll leave them out till i get a bite. But I'll always have a recast b4 dark for the fresh attraction going into the night.

    I doubt the lead swam through the reeds to the left on its own buddy

    • @MrCarpking71
      @MrCarpking71  6 років тому

      Exactly mate. Think it was partly due to my alarms playing up. Something i only noticed as i was packing up. It was like they was on.the lowest sensitivity setting even tho they was on + setting. Been serviced now with new sensors fitted so hopefully should not miss anymore bites.

    Hello Chris, another pukka vlog, that was a good session for winter and some pretty, clean fish. Do you use a mix of pellet in your bags ? Can't beat the plastic fantastic in some betalin. Happy Days mate 👍👍

    • @MrCarpking71
      @MrCarpking71  6 років тому

      Cheers buddy. I use a bit of a mix all from hinders. Little gems, mini combo and salmon fry crumb. Good ol corn in betalin got me out a few scrapes now.
