I actually bought this gimbal the other week partly because of your review videos. Yours were so detailed, and the fact you mentioned that overall gimbals all had their own pros and con's and it would mount up to what I (the viewer/user) would be using and needing it for. Because the DJI had a bit shaky video's I choose the Q3, now I only have to get into filming. So kinda using your videos to get inspiration. Such a newbie and it feels weird having invested so much money for something I never tried out before. Wish me good luck :) If I upload the video's on youtube, I'll add a link to my first one made with the gimbal. I'm not there yet though, just playing around still.

Hello and thanks for your great posts. I just got one of these. I do have a question though, in one YT video you did a boom pull up. I have done this with my previous Zhiyun gimbals. Yet the Q3 seems to limit the joystick tilt angles and blocks at around 45º. Others have had the same problems yet no definitive answers are out there. Zhiyun says 80º-270º tilt yet I cannot find any videos showing that. Does yours make large tilt mouvements with the joystick or when moving the handle in large angles?
Thank you very much for your comment. This gimbal doesn’t have a very good tilt you have to work with your arm a lot and body movement. The best gimbal when it comes to tilt is Zhiyun Smooth 5
Do you feel the gimbal really makes a difference? The stabilization in the new phones is pretty great and you can stabilize in post as well. I was excited to get a gimbal for my DSLR but in all honesty I feel having the extra equipment just slows me down and complicates the shoot. There are exceptions like music videos where the shots have more complicated movements. Just wondering what your perspective is. BTW great tutorial.
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts. If I shoot with big camera just regular stuff no…. But if I want to do fence moves, real speed stuff where I need all creative modes then yes absolutely…, it all depends on what you are doing

Really enjoy your videos. They are very helpful. I just got the Smooth Q3 gimbal and I notice that when in PF mode, if I tilt the gimbal down and then back up again, the phone does not quite return to vertical. I tried calibration with no change. I was wondering if you have the same issue?
@@ZdenkaDarula yes, I tried to do that but they are a little hard to get in touch with. I’m going to return it and get another one. Since yours doesn’t seem to have that problem perhaps it is specific to the one I received. Thanks!

Hi Zdenka @ 0.44 you said your using ultra wide angle for this, what smartphone is on your smooth Q3, I have the same gimbal and use the Samsung S10 plus but when i shoot at 4K 60fps there is no option for wide angle.
Thank you very much for noticing…, yes it was doing exactly that. Once I made the video they explained that it needed to be fixed. I was quite upset to be honest

Almost certain it is a Maple tree. The bell-shaped structures are the flowers. You can see maple leaves starting to grow out.

Unfortunately with Android you can do only standard lens. I use iPhone

It looks like the camera of the phone's stabilization is fighting the stabilization from the gimbal itself.

Why are all the videos so choppy and jittery ?
Because it is filmed in automatic mode where there is a variable shutter speed
