For the NG T cab in the future, please consider an R flat roof sleeper, it would look super american and just absolutely unique and cool.

Rod Harrison’s race car is known as a fuel rail car, my father used to race him back in the 80’s and all the way until he actively retired from drag racing a good few years back
That winch ain’t really meant to pull heavy weights it looks like it’s meant for a pick up lol

You should put some custom FH14 badges on it. Volvo hasn't made a 14-litre engine but Scania quite famously has. A Volvo FH14 would be a nice subtle custom model designation

I remeber back in the 80s my Dad used to drive to the middle east from scandinavia and there was a sweedesh bloke who used to have a flat roof volvo F1220 that they put a scania V8 in it, i remember the thing used to fly and sounded well with it. The days before limeters that was. It had a 140km tacho in it and it used to go so far over the needle would go over the edge of the card and rip the edge of the tacho when you used to slow back down, in saying that i had a magnum back in 94 that used to do the same, oh but that didnt have a limiter either or rather it did until i had it for 6 years.
Get yourself a bigger winch Tim. Go to Rydam Universal. Amazing place with wreckers and low loaders and also do massive winches. 👌
There is already a V8 Volvo, Horne’s Pleasure Fairs have it up in Scotland

Squeeze bum time with vosa. Only been pulled over once by them in a Northern Ireland registered truck in south mims. One hour wait. Next day 1 hour late for the boat

DVSA have a depot thingy at J9 of the A14. Only ever seen one truck pulled in there and I live off junction 9 😂

proper heavy haul truck ahead of that heavy haul on that road ;) That tiny winch is struggling on 4x2 truck without engine and transmission...it will die on proper load thats for sure

I think they took up too much space when stowed. I think it made fitting two lorries difficult.

You could do with a snatch block it’ll double the pulling power of the winch
Should use a synthetic rope for that winch, a steel one will cut you near in half if it snaps.
Just as nutty as when we put a 240 Gardner into a Scania 110 back in the 80's.
Tim you need a proper hydraulic winch on that or a much beefier electric one, that one sounded about ready to explode haha
