My first ever trip to mainland Europe was Berlin back in the early 2000s. I actually work for a very well known German automotive manufacturer so it wasn’t a complete shock seeing all the European cars. One of the days my wife and I are walking down the street and off in the distance I hear a sound I’ve not heard since being in Germany, I big engine. I stopped and my wife was like “what’s wrong why are you stopping?” I said “do you hear that?” She says “what the car off in the distance?” I say “yea that ain’t European that’s American!” No sooner had I finished my sentence that a bright red Ram 1500 SRT10 comes around the corner and stops at the light beside me. Other people literally start taking pictures and videos of it. As soon as the light turned green, he rolled a little smoke through the intersection and some people seemed like they’d never seen anything like that before. It actually made me feel patriotic that something like an Ram SRT10 would cause such a stir on that side street near the hollow tooth church in Berlin Germany. Still one of my fondest memories of that trip.

Trucks are lost in european cities, its so hard to drive anything big over here due to medieval city planning and more bike oriented inner areas. In the countryside, most people drive station wagons or minivans, maybe SUV's
Yeah, true. It literally screams "I have a small package AND a small brain!". Except for pulling a trailer (or really driving off-roads, but hardly anyone does this) even SUVs are too big and inconvenient for european roads and therefore people only buy them as a substitute for missing capabilities in bed.
And yeah we don't even have proper parking spaces for that kind of trucks nor do we have use for them, so basically if you buy/lease one of those in europe everbody knows that you are an imbecile.

That landing was smooth as it gets.
My first ever trip to mainland Europe was Berlin back in the early 2000s. I actually work for a very well known German automotive manufacturer so it wasn’t a complete shock seeing all the European cars. One of the days my wife and I are walking down the street and off in the distance I hear a sound I’ve not heard since being in Germany, I big engine. I stopped and my wife was like “what’s wrong why are you stopping?” I said “do you hear that?” She says “what the car off in the distance?” I say “yea that ain’t European that’s American!” No sooner had I finished my sentence that a bright red Ram 1500 SRT10 comes around the corner and stops at the light beside me. Other people literally start taking pictures and videos of it. As soon as the light turned green, he rolled a little smoke through the intersection and some people seemed like they’d never seen anything like that before. It actually made me feel patriotic that something like an Ram SRT10 would cause such a stir on that side street near the hollow tooth church in Berlin Germany. Still one of my fondest memories of that trip.
