The National Gallery is part of my history. When I see a famous painting that resides there, it's a link to very personal, emotional, as well as aesthetic experiences.
Really fascinating to see how these famous works are influencing not only up and coming fashion but the sustainability movement as well. Bravo!
Art is a part of everything!! Look forward to seeing those paintings in person one day
We hope to see you soon, Luke!
Free admission. Excellent.
Its also refreshing to find out that there are still people who enjoy and go to the ARt Gallery and look and think on the paintings. I have not been there in a while but I love just looking at a painting and meditating on its "message".
Art nourishes the mind .
How wonderful and lively
Art is a part of everything, Seeing paintings is a elegant experience to say the least.
We couldn't agree more, Philip!
When I see a work of art that I like, I usually end up researching the artist and then look up other pieces of art. I never liked Picasso, didn’t understand it- but after watching a video , I began to look into his life and his work.
When I see an artist I like, I will sketch a particular item, by doing that, I realized Picasso’s art was far more complicated then I gave him credit for.
Interesting linkage between past & present. Thanks! 👍
Glad you liked it, Yvonne!
I feel fashion is so important. A lot of these artists are inspirational and intelligent
How the past influences the present in so many ways and on so many different levels. Very nice.
Thank you, Terry!
Really enjoyed these artists perspectives. This inspired me as an artist.
Glad you enjoyed it. Susan!

Yves Saint Laurent was also an art collectioner !
This is fascinating. so these great fashion designers get ideas from the paintings. Hey, can men were good fashion designs also, because it seems most fashion is designed for women. we never see men walking the stage line and posing.
💖
i think its not a privilege.
it needs to be free for everyone to learn and be amazed.
Fashion designers, come up with clothing that will be cherished for years, that is sustainability.
