No, it's not on point. She tells you to put the ball joint attachment in the wrong place!!! It goes under the ring light...NOT in it! It iswhat makes the light movable/adjustable.

Thank you very much for sharing but there's one part not quite right. The piece you screwed inside the ring (at 5:00) is supposed to go on the top tripod screw. The flexible piece for the camera holder screws in the inside ring. That way, the ring (as well as the phone/camera, can be adjusted to different angles - even horizontal. This works great when you need light shining down on your work area. I use mine for beading, embroidery, manicures, above my sewing/hobby table, etc. It's also fantastic for make-up if you place a mirror in the camera holder. Hope that helps.
