De la Edda Poética, el Völuspá, la Profecía de la Vidente (Völva), y esta cuenta la historia que le relata una anciana, ya muerta, a Odín.
El poema inicia con una invocación a Valföðr, y prosigue con la historia de la Creación y todos los sucesos siguientes, hasta el Ragnarök, donde el dragón Níðhöggr se alimentará de las almas de los muertos que llegan a Hel.
Éste poema, que consta de 66 versos aliterados, fue redactado en Islandia a finales del siglo X, y se conserva en el Codex Regius, 1270, y también es mencionado en la Edda Prosaica de Snorri Sturluson, 1220.

This man is just amazing
I feel this, my family heritage comes from the Orkney Islands, and Bergen still trying to trace where my Swedish roots end up.
I get those who have started looking into Viking heritage due to the show and stuff, but there's something that hits different when you do the research and know you have Viking heritage. I'm by no means Folkish though, I can't be, I'm American.
i love his music so much I listen to it every day even when I work outside ppl in there cars that drive by look at me weird.. lol. but iam glad I got Viking blood in me :).
