Excellent. You covered a lot of captures. That's a cool little scope. If you have coil on plugs you can put a US quarter on the coil and lay a back probe pin across it to get a pretty good capture. I need to do this for the other 3 coils and make ref waves and put it all on the same graph (pico software). I'm still to chicken to back probe or pierce 18 year wire to coils or injectors-it's my only car.

Pico is always my tool of choice but this little scope is perfect for quick and fast and if anything is amiss i grab the Pico. I have tried the coin on the coil trick and it has been hit and miss. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

The link to pre-set settings should be extremely useful, however I ended up buying a Picoscope 2205A. Do you think the info you provided for the uScope would translate to the Picoscope?

All scopes have Time (Sweep), Amplitude (Volts or amps), and trigger settings. All of these transfer to the Pico and the Pico software is much more robust. I have some Pico 7 videos and I will be making more in the near future. Many of the settings I use on the uScope can transfer to the Pico software. At least they will get you close. I'm sure you will need a few small adjustments to obtain the capture your looking for. Pico can also save settings so you can have presets and reference files just like the the uScope however you can also save a bunch more meta data with each preset. I love my Pico but for a quick check with less setup time I also love my uScope.
