BEST reaction to their atlas rise cover that I've seen yet... YOU ACTUALLY KNOW THE ORIGINAL! So great to see/hear. I'm shocked at ale's right hand on the bass... this is a LONG SONG to do finger style like that and her rhythm is flawless
Just ran across this reaction- sorry I am late to the party. I have loved these ladies for a quite a while now. Love your reaction. Atlas Rise is not my favorite but I have to tell you they are fast making it my favorite. If you didn't know they learned that song in 4 days. 4 days before recording that performance they had never heard that song before!!! I have learned to love these ladies and every song is another building block in solidifying them as young rock goddesses! Thanks for the reaction video!
One of my favorite moments in this movie is shortly after the part that you repeated when Ale (11 yrs old) fix her hair with her left hand while still playing with the right hand. 🤘
Ha! Imagine if a high school had a "Battle of the Bands" and these three girls showed up. The guys would all go home with their tails between their legs.
🤘We know these joven chicas well. Been following their work for a couple years now. They are so impressive. Would love to see them live. The play a lot of heritage festivals. Great time watching this, Ryan. Lol... Hubby & I wish they were our daughters.
Its funny, how everyone who finds this band, brings with them a different example of who The Warning sounds like. 🙂. The girls have many influences that range from classic rock, to Jrock and KPop. They have a fierce bravery about them, and their music. The band is not afraid to incorporate styles from all across the music spectrum, into a potent brew of what is The Warning sound. You are going to enjoy finding out more about them! 🤘🏻
To see Ryan's face during this reaction was great. It shows exactly how I felt the first time I heard this. I saw a guy reacting to their whole latest CD via Spotify and that was good for two reasons. 1. The video's with good quality are almost all from Lunario in Mexica City and the altitude affects the singing part and it's the first time they play them live. 2. Since he heard all songs after each other he understood the story and didn't spend time on compairing them so much. Instead he got more involved in the story.
Haha! Nobody warned you but now you know! And it’s beautiful!! The Warning band is the only band that hits my heart enough to make me tear up. They are truly amazing.
I will be shocked if they aren’t in the Rock and Roll hall of fame in the distant future . Massive respect from a die hard Metallica fan in Ireland since mid 80s
David, I was just reading your comment not sure if follow The Warning music but expect them in Ireland in the near future, this week they have just sign wit Lava/Republic records with a 5 record deal and total creative control over their music. Last nigth during an all star online festival they killed it, Lzzy Hale of Hailstorm tweeted them she want on her next tour to open for her band, so they are on their way to superstardom, just a great story😁🤘
Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning. Glad you liked it! They have an ever growing following called The Warning Army (in which I enlisted). TWA has a group of “crazy uncles” who scour the web for new enlistees such as yourself. Thanks for spreading the word. Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean. Sea levels are rising🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dude, I'll have to say, the look on your face was priceless when Dani was ripping down that guitar solo on this! Really glad you found out about The Warning!😍 These gals are the real deal!! After following their stuff for 3+ years now, I have both their albums, one of their hats and a boatload of live concert stuff saved on my Mac, plus I was one of their subscribers on Patreon for a while when I could still afford it. I'm currently on disability and a fixed income, so every dollar counts, but after being a musician myself, I can really appreciate the amount of talent and drive for success these young ladies possess, and they are getting better exponentially, every time they perform. They've gotten a LOT of on-stage experience in the past few short years, opening for Def Leppard at 2 different shows, opening for The Killers, playing the Mother of All Music Festivals, and much more! They are going to be instrumental (pun-intended) at saving Rock & Roll, along with a few other young bands that are tired of seeing the direction that the cesspool of the 'music industry', is taking it. History is repeating itself and good music performed by REAL musicians, playing REAL instruments is coming back!!! Thanks Ryan for a great reaction! Looking forward to checking out some more of your stuff. New subscriber here! *YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!* 🤘😍🤘
If you think they have grown between these Metallica covers then I can't wait until you hear Dust To Dust! I'm subscribing to see that. The Queen of the Murder Scene album that D2D is on is a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to violence to self-loathing to suicide. Dust to Dust is the prologue which invites the listener into the story and introduces the main themes - life/death, good/evil, truth/lies, etc. The preacher's speech (in Spanish, from their manager) in Dust to Dust suggests there is always a path to salvation. You have been Warned!
Brother YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!.... and yes you should watch this version done at The Whisky... I was there and my ears are still ringing from that show. They're amazing to watch as well as the most humble young ladies you'll ever meet.
I was there too, and, well... At the end of a 2 hr set of their own AWESOME music, they broke into this. I thought we were all going to faint. We were screaming and jumping up and down. I would have stuck around to pick up some of the pieces of my blown mind, but I didn't want to miss a special meet and greet they'd invited me to. So I left my mind on the walls of The Whisky. At least I know where it is.
Ryan, Its amazing how far playing the video game Rockband can get you. I first saw these young ladies learning how to play tunes via their TV screen, it's great to see their progress.
Btw- If it hasn't been mentioned yet, they learned, adapted, practiced, and recorded this in only four days. Then they went back to recording their original album. Not bad, eh?
Returning to the reactor basis, I have known a lot o reactors "acting" to react to something, then you can see that they have a basic performance for all their reactions, no matter the quality or taste for the band, everything is amazing for them...
Hi, You should watch their live version of this song at the Whisky a go go in Hollywood California. You should also react to any live song at the Lunario CDMX of thei album "Queen of The Murder Scene". "Dust to Dust" is a great way to start!
@@TheWarningBand i keep on hearing that. Lunario was in 2018, many great concerts since then that should already be on the warning channel. They are so far behind in releasing pro shot vids to showcase THE BAND
In honor of all the people in France and the Low Countries, (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg), I thought it would be fitting to do a reaction to Sabaton Resist and Bite. On this date in 1940, the now famous Belgian unit the Chasseurs Ardennais took part in heavy fighting after Belgium was invaded on 10 May 1940; the Germans noted the fierce resistance of the Belgians and the Chasseurs Ardennais were no exception. In one engagement a 47mm antitank gun destroyed or disabled five German tanks. They fought so bravely that German general Erwin Rommel said : "They are not men, they are green wolves". 14 men held off the combined arms of the German 7th Panzer Division and only surrendered after running out of ammunition. Never forget these brave men who fought in the face of overwhelming odds! I looked up the actual day the invasion began and it follows the exact same timeline as this actual weekend in 2019-- chills........ ua-cam.com/video/iGtEH1i78sI/v-deo.html
Daniella and Paulina are amazing but the bassist Ale kept up with Dani listen to the bassline during Danielas solo the bass is right there keeping up great job Ale 🤘🤘
Now to blow you mind even further. At this time Ale on the bass was 12yo, Pau on the drums 15yo, Dany on guitar 17yo. They did not know this song. They learned it, transposed it to two guitars from three and recorded it - in FOUR days! This was an amalgum of several videos recorded over some hours ( you can see Ale's sleeves at different heights during it). Here is the live version they did this January. ua-cam.com/video/fhhG5EiFiyA/v-deo.html
Yes indeed, John is right to point your here as this was the capper on a nearly 2 hour, 22-song set at a private show they did for Patreons and other supporters / fans. They didn't just nail it, they absolutely slayed it like it was their own. What. A. Show.
Well I too love Pau on the drums, God if she beat them any harder they would arrest her for assault!!!! They have all gotten better and shout out to the bassist who has really grown up and into a really great musician AND they are only getting better. What is more remarkable is they have stayed independent and control all their own music (rejected a label deal when they wanted them to be more commercial is the story I read somewhere). Close your eyes and ...go back to the early 70's and Black Sabbath and they sound so much like the music of that day!!! I am telling you the Metal and Rock boys better watch out, the days when the GIRL only did vocals is over and there is serious competition now. These girls are great, and the female bands out of Japan are really showing you that their day is already here!!! Glad you like it, but that was a sure bet if I ever had one (LOL) Later you can try Mary's Blood Marionette (ua-cam.com/video/MLM2unV0kwU/v-deo.html) and don't be fooled by the mini-skirts, especially Saki the guitarist who can shred with the best anytime, and anywhere and I mean the Metal Boys too, she is wicked good!!!
I know you already did a reaction video to Atlas, Rise!, so this link is mostly for your personal enjoyment. A bunch of us TW supporters help pay for a professional live video at the Whisky, thanks to 16Lizards initiative. Take a listen: ua-cam.com/video/fhhG5EiFiyA/v-deo.html What's good about the Whisky version is their stage presence, the studio basement version took about 4 recordings that were spliced together, if you'll notice Ale's sleeve is long in one part and short in another shot, still an awesome video none-the-less. Metallica almost offered TW to open for them when they were in México City at the time because of this studio video, but it fell through at the last moment,...their loss. Instead TW opened for Def Leppard later that year and The Killers in April 2018. Speaking of their opening act gig with the Killers, here's the link of the whole concert: ua-cam.com/video/XeHhbdUcYs4/v-deo.html Btw, the same guy that did the professional video of their gig at Lunario also did the Killers gig. His name is Raziel Zuñiga from Monterrey, MX. He uses about 3-4 cameramen, i wish he could do all their gigs.
Dang, I think The Warning and its loyal Army has helped put you over 1K subs! I'm pretty sure it was still in the upper 900's but nonetheless it's cool to see knowing TW and their music had a little something to do with that! :-)
This was a really good reaction and review of The Warning and their ability to create a powerful "wall of sound" that is impressive for any young rock band let alone a trio. Really enjoyed how excited you seem by the prospect of an all female rock group that isn't afraid to go heavy with a cover that is both true to the original but also injects their own tone (I like the Black Sabbath reference as I hadn't thought about it, but now it makes more sense now that you say it) and personality into the song, especially with the interchanging vocals. Don't think Lars will be doing that any time soon. ;-) They might could have done it that way if they hadn't been such a dick to Newsted over the years. Anyhoo, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Metallica, but they always seemed to take Jason for granted, almost because he LOVED Metallica so much, maybe more than them at that difficult time after Cliff's death. But I digress, so heartened by all of the reactor channel "buzz" being generated by TW, and you are only scratching the surface. However, I must say that your advocate Nightwish was right to guide you down this path of juxtaposing the "then and now" Metallica covers followed by one of their heavier, even grungy, sounding tracks off their current album. What's really cool about TW is the are basically "genre-less" and able to stand on their own with their own sound that still manages to hearken back to a plethora of influences, both old and new. So many fans of them love that they hear or detect different influences in their music whether it be pop, hard rock, prog, metal, J-rock or even punk like you'll see with their track P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. and even to a degree Hunter. But above all, their sound is defined by their amazing rhythm section and driving, rhythm-based riffs and melodies, impeccable and variegated drum work and undaunted vocal creativity where they don't hesitate to use a plethora of vocal techniques and devices. It's just good solid rock music that is now being expanded to incorporate more and more variety without seeming cartoonishly experimental, copycat-ish or trying too hard. Not to mention they work really hard at playing as a cohesive unit, and it always shines through in their live performances. So much of being a great band is how tight and seamless you can sound on stage, and they have got that in spades. Well, that's enough of my rambling on for now, but let me finish by saying it was a pleasure to enjoy your reactions today, a very pleasant and unexpected surprise, and I look forward to more. And not just when you do a vid by The Warning! Cheers!
jbarty party awesome comment and insight. I totally agree regarding Jason. I love James and Lars but yes they were dicks to Jason. The admitted as such. But they are older and wiser now. And sober.
Ryan, I see you've been intro'd to Jason... He's arquably TWA's unofficial commenter laureate. Nice guy too. I met him at The Warning show. My comment is: great reaction and... what he said : )
@@johnafagerquist8235 Hahaha Just got reminded of your "commenter laureate" quip after getting a notification that someone liked my comment. I am honored to wear the mantle and have it bestowed upon me by an erudite gentleman like yourself! :-) Also, I wonder how Ryan is getting on with his move. Hope to see you back soon Ryan!!
Personally, I like that you have started this path since its inception. I suggest continuing at least with other 2 covers so you know a little more of their technical skills and so, maybe, doing a more just criticism. In this video you can see a little of the skills of Daniela, the lead guitar. In the following you will know a little more Paulina, the drummer, and Alejandra, the bass. Ale, at 10 years old: ua-cam.com/video/fU26wmlF3yg/v-deo.html Pau, at 10 years old: ua-cam.com/video/MUAhV8K-v3A/v-deo.html This last video may be too pop for your channel, but you will know the skills of Pau. So far, some of Pau and Ale's skills are evident. Explaining what I admire about Dany would be 3 or 4 times more extensive and complicated. I think that would be too much for a comment that I would like to find a way to make it small, clear and simple. I think that from now on you already have the tools to get to know The Warning better. Enjoy "the trip".
They also did this live at the whiskey a go go which is even better than this version in my opinion, I am also a patron of theirs because they are so good at what they do, I know you'll like dust to dust, queen of the murder scene is just as awesome.
Oh cool. I found one of your earliest reaction videos to The Warning. You still didn't really know who they were yet. This is like an archeological find. LOL
Another guy (Bowzer's reaction Pit) doing a reaction on the same video brought up that the girls had a Black Sabbath tone/sound. I'm not sure who is Bowzer but the guy that noticed it is the guy with the dark hair. I prefer reactions from people that know their music.
Great reaction to an awesome band! Can't wait to hear your reaction to Dust to Dust. Check out some of their older original stuff too. "Take Me Down" was written by Ale the bass player when she was 10 or 11, an absolutely awesome song ua-cam.com/video/IaW-xtGk1r0/v-deo.html .
Looks like the Gretta VanFleet fanboy stalker has found your channel, just so he could give TW a thumbs down. That is the only baggage that comes with this band. 🤷♂️
Well, that version is good and performed live and the girls are two years older. It also has a lot of boring overhead shot's of Pau when not called for and if you compare it to this version you can here watch Pau more or less the whole time and see her face expressions (at times hillarious). I also think I can see more expressions from Dany in this version and not to forget Ale who hardly exist in the official Whiskey version. If the sound wasn't worse I would actually have prefered THIS "unlisted" version. ua-cam.com/video/XeHhbdUcYs4/v-deo.html You see more of all of them (especially 13 years old Ale) and the music is already in my head anyway so I can enjoy their performance instead. 😉
what are you talking it sounds just like metallicas version of Atlas Rise just minus an extra guitar how dare you compare them to ozzy osbourne that is an insult and then you compare one of the greatest bands of all time metallica to black sabbath i like black sabbath better then when he is just ozzy osbourne but but they have nothing to teach and show metallica or the warning

And sober.
@@Kimobubby He forgot to mention that these girls are still attending school and have to combine practice with homework. It's really mind blowing. :D
Only three but.. sound like 300
300 Spartans? ;)
Good take. I'd add there's a tinge of Zep in certain parts -- like 6:44 to 7:14
Personally, I like that you have started this path since its inception.
Ale, at 10 years old:

Pau, at 10 years old: ua-cam.com/video/MUAhV8K-v3A/v-deo.html
This last video may be too pop for your channel, but you will know the skills of Pau.
8:07 That WAS awesome... A MATTER of FACT.
Back for another look at where your journey began. Stay Warned
David Hollis I will
Please do the Whiskey a go go version. it's back on you tube.
hello from greek
They also did this live at the whiskey a go go which is even better than this version in my opinion, I am also a patron of theirs because they are so good at what they do, I know you'll like dust to dust, queen of the murder scene is just as awesome.
New subscriber btw.
roylynn wall 🙏🙏❤️❤️
And unlike Metallica they have a drummer that knows how to play :D
Oh cool. I found one of your earliest reaction videos to The Warning. You still didn't really know who they were yet. This is like an archeological find. LOL
The journey begins
Can you reaction the kingmaster harmonic Alip Ba Ta from Indonesia.
Check out 21st Century Blood Good one!!!!
Dave Ames I’ve done numerous The Warning Reactions
Check them out :)
Dave Ames Ryan is a huge fan, and has done darn near every warning song in existence. Check them out! 🤘🏻❤️
Another guy (Bowzer's reaction Pit) doing a reaction on the same video brought up that the girls had a Black Sabbath tone/sound. I'm not sure who is Bowzer but the guy that noticed it is the guy with the dark hair. I prefer reactions from people that know their music.
Ok
Lars plays it, Pau takes it 1 step further....
Who's Metallica just now the warning ya
Great reaction to an awesome band! Can't wait to hear your reaction to Dust to Dust. Check out some of their older original stuff too. "Take Me Down" was written by Ale the bass player when she was 10 or 11, an absolutely awesome song ua-cam.com/video/IaW-xtGk1r0/v-deo.html .
Maddog Jones he already reacted to Dust to Dust, he liked it, a lot & i think he'll also like "Take Me Down" if he reacts to it.
@@MG-cx7fd Yeah, only found him an hour ago and did not see his two newer reactions. Oh well, here's hoping for a lot more!
Looks like the Gretta VanFleet fanboy stalker has found your channel, just so he could give TW a thumbs down. That is the only baggage that comes with this band. 🤷♂️
Intiminated by three teenage girls 😀🤘
@@bobparmelee1071 If he had a few sisters, who can blame him? :D
Dude I'm the youngest of four! My three sisters beat on me like a drum😀🤘✌️🙏
@@bobparmelee1071 My sister has four younger brothers. She moved out at age 16. 🤣🏃♀️
Greta Van Who?
To bad the live version of this song from there whisky show is gone
From what I understand it will be back. they had to take it down for pretty good reasons is what was told
Hey all nice right they are super talented, come follow them at Instagram instagram.com/thewarningrockband/
Whiskey a go go version is a much better version of this cover you will love it
Well, that version is good and performed live and the girls are two years older. If the sound wasn't worse I would actually have prefered THIS "unlisted" version. ua-cam.com/video/XeHhbdUcYs4/v-deo.html
You see more of all of them (especially 13 years old Ale) and the music is already in my head anyway so I can enjoy their performance instead. 😉
I like the live at a night club better I'm not a musician or anything but I love the warning that's my opinion... You've been Warned 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Make the screen 3/4 them and 1/4 (or less) you
Jim S why. ? Can’t you watch them without me anytime you want to ? If you don’t want to see me, don’t watch.
@@Kimobubby Now, that's a good idea. Bye
Jim S sad you couldn’t think of it on your own. Cheers.
Hey Rebalkin, get off your duff, PLEASE review Choke, their new single...life changing!! I hope all is well with you and yours!!!!
we did /:)
Lars should be kicked off Metallica and put this girl as the drummer. Lars has fucked up Metallica long enough !!
what are you talking it sounds just like metallicas version of Atlas Rise just minus an extra guitar how dare you compare them to ozzy osbourne that is an insult and then you compare one of the greatest bands of all time metallica to black sabbath i like black sabbath better then when he is just ozzy osbourne but but they have nothing to teach and show metallica or the warning
