Looking at the highlights you’d thought Gauff bageled Pegula .Happens every time she loses
Because he makes a lot of errors especially on the FH wing which never make it to the highlights because they are hardly highlights, more like “lowlights” lol

That was good tennis to watch. Athletic , Intelligent, and tactical.
The rain delay might have f*cked up one of the best matches of the year. When Pegula plays this level she's unplayable but it's rare unfortunately. Remember she's almost 10 years older than Coco and shows off the same intensity level without problem.

Look Fraudd errrr Gauff is a good player but I'm never surprised when Fraudd errrr Gauff gets beat . The ESPN HYPE MACHINE has tried to sell us that she's some kind of transcendent phenom like a Monica Seles and it's just laughable because she's nowhere near that. The match needed to win must win.
Bringing up age everytime she loses is getting old at this point. People peak at different ages, others peak young others peak a little late. Coco has been here since around 2019, she is very experienced at this point, a slam winner. She way simply outplayed by Jessica.
Lol 😂she turned pro 2019 at 15 years old. It depends what someone expects from her but I think she can win 5 grand slams when it’s all said and done which is still a great achievement. She is world number 2 at 20 years and has been consistently into semis and finals.

It was great to watch the duel of these two top American tennis players in the semi-final. Even if it is a dramatic end, I would like to congratulate both of them. I had predicted that it was going to be an arduous combat between these players, plainly seeing the top-flight rallies and exquisite strikes throughout the whole clash. Although Gauff looked solid and confident in this grass tournament, Pegula has delivered a more impactful and resilient performance than her compatriot.
Some said IGA is out so Coco has no threat to win Berlin.. Haha.. That's not how tennis works pple... Coco is good but has around 10 gals on tour now well above her in game.. Fact!

You're right. She's #2 player without winning anything major. Other players simply crash/nocked each other or pulling out from tournaments and she's the lucky one advancing without scoring.

Jessica did good but Coco Puff should be winning these matches as she is the top player. Just a few slip ups and errors. Grass is a weird surface to get used to. It's faster than clay but slower than hard so it takes a little getting used to and Coco overhits some shots. Coco will get better and be number 1 next season and own Iga and Jessica.

Funny I played last night with a girl whose game I loved and I told her she reminded me a lot of Jess Pegula. I’m a way more dynamic and bigger hitter with way more shots than her but she just drilled me off the court because a ball like Pegula’s is so clean and consistent it almost coaxes you into wanting to hit flat and clean back because the ball is so comfy to hit. BUT I like Coco hit with a lot more topspin and she beat me clean every set we played.
She’s not the bigger talent but she stays so low to the ground and hits so flat her shots have a bigger impact than Coco’s in this surface.
If the media gave the same kind of build-up to Pegula that they have given to Gauff, she would be a superstar!

This is WTA. Inconsistency is the key here so you never know. Gauff can make a final in Wimbledon and Peg may go home early as she had a terrible year so far it wouldn't really surprise me.

Pegula has not got as good of a record as Coco ,Pegula at 30 years old has never been in a GS SF or even a Final because she beats coco does not mean she is better ,coco has some type of mental block when it come to playing Jessica ,she plays badly when they meet and she loses.
One problem Jessica has is she can be overpowered by hard hitting players and jessica will not last into the second week at Wimbledon.
