You think you can keep Jerry Stiller out of Astoria? He's moving in lock, stock and barrel!!! He's gonna be in the pool, he'g gonna be in the cub house, he's gonna be all over that shuffle board court!!! And he dares you to keep him out!!!! :)
I had a friend in high school who met jerry stiller in the elevator of a hospital in NY. He was holding a stack of pizza boxes, he said he brought fresh pizza to people who are in bad shape in the hospital and made them laugh. He just did this by himself.
Sure she offers Jerry a drink, he is so nice ya know probably thinking about everyone else if he get a drink everyone gets a drink. Not to make a hassle.. Beautiful couple. lovely clip. Legendary Man oh how he made us laugh soo good!
I used to live just down the street (37th Street in Astoria, Queens) in the 1950s. It was a wonderful neighborhood then, and it still is now. RIP Mr. Stiller (May 11, 2020).
Queens and Staten Island are THE best residential areas of the five boroughs! If I were to move back to NYC, I'd live in Queens in a heartbeat. It's STILL charming.
I live on Ditmars Blvd my whole life, my Grandfather bought the house in 1927 for 4 thousand dollars and the neighborhood is actually much nicer now than it used to be!
This is Jerry Stiller at his finest. He was in His own element . He was one of them and that's why He felt "At Home". Now Mr. Stiller is at Home with GOD and the Angels. May the LORD bless and shower him with all the love and generosity it can give. We love and miss you Sir. GOD bless you
"Serenity Now!" What a star. He truly had me crying so many times, and when my sister does anything wrong at family events I shout "You're dead to me!". Then my mother shouts "Don't say that!", I shout "Its from a show" and there I am, my sister laughing, my mother shouting, my dad just folding his arms wishing he had taken precautions 48 years ago and there it is is, as if by magic, I have created a little bit of Costanza Festivus madness in England. I appreciate that one of those lines is from King of Queens but thats ok, because my sister has never seen Seinfeld whereas I have them all on DVD, but she is a King of Queens fan. Love from and Englishman in France. Rest in Peace Mr Stiller Sir. Bless you 🇬🇧
I was in my car one day in St.Charles Illinois in 1978 and Jerry Stiller crossed the street in front of me.I knew who he was back then.He was a star before Seinfeld.
Whenever the world gets crazy, I'm watching this heartwarming video. Just three lovely people meeting one another with one of them a comic genius loved throughout the world.
Awesome video! I used to watch Jerry & his wife on Ed Sullivan. When I was a little boy. As well as a series they did together in like 1970 or 71 season. I believe it only last like one season. R.I.P. Jerry thank you for all the decades you and your lovely wife gave us. .
I've seen this before but this is amazing. Older people are so polite and it's like they immediately have something in common because they're somewhat advanced in age. I love how she says seemingly inconsequential things like "I saw you gettin out of the caaaar!". And then when she gives Jerry that little thing she made.... I love this!
I knew this day would come, when jerry passes & everyone comes out of the woodwork & sings his praises.much deserved too.gonna miss him like no one before.rip jerry.
I think we can see in this video how this wonderful man lived such a long life -- a soul so filled with humor, gratitude, humility and willingness to take a chance thrives longer than most! Bless you always, Mr. Stiller!
This was so adorable . I am in tears. What a wonderful kind actor and man. He and Anne Meara were so cute together so in love. Sienfeld and the king of Queens never gets old. I can watch either and laugh out loud just like the first time. After he passed I did some googling and found out that the episode with him at the coffee shop on the King of Queens the clerk behind the counter was his daughter Amy. I knew about his son Ben but not about his daughter. It is also neat that he got to work with his wife on King of Queens. Now he is at rest with his wife Anne.
It took 9 years for the algorithm to show me this video. But I’m glad I’ve watched now. Rip Mr Stiller. From Army vet to Army vet. You gave us so many laughs! One of the very best! RIP
Oh my gosh, I am so glad to have stumbled upon this. I miss Mr. Stiller already. So grateful to that couple for sharing their home for a lovely, poignant visit. ❤️
What wonderful people. You couldn't have blamed them if they had turned the camera crew away, but they opened up their home to them. You could tell Jerry Stiller was genuinely moved. One of the greatest comedians in show business from one of the greatest shows of all time and he still got a real kick from people opening up their home to him. Shows what a great man he was. RIP Jerry Stiller.
R.I.P the great Mr Stiller….My personal favorite on Seinfeld….Mr and Mrs Costanza made that show iconic….always big laughter when the Costanza’s would make an appearance….
that's what you get when you've spent your life giving joy to people and have incredible talent- people are happy to see you. Such an incredible gift he had, his work in 'that house' will last forever as funny
Loved Jerry stiller in Seinfeld an more recently in king of queens.but remember when Ann Mera and him did standup they were a pair. He carried that character with him even after her death which I believe kept him going.R.I.P jerry laughter heals the heart.
Rest in Peace Jerry, I had been a fan since I first have seen you and Anne on the Ed Sullivan Show sometime in 1962 or 63. Yeah, I am old now, I still have almost 27 more years to get to 92.
Searching for an Astoria pool video, I stumbled upon this video that read Jerry Stiller visits Astoria. Driving a NYC taxi cab one rarely picks up the same passenger twice. In my case I had picked up Jerry Stiller 3 different occasions all three time at the port authority bus terminal! He is a very friendly gentleman as you can see in this video out of all the celebrities that I have driven in the taxi cab Mr. Jerry Stiller tops my list!
Wow, what a treat that was to watch. Genuine New York characters, remnants of the past. they way they talked, and moved, and everything about them speaks volumes of the kindness and generosity of true New Yorkers, despite the undeserved reputation. We were, and still are the most kind, generous and REAL people on Earth! RIP Jerry, you were one of a kind!
I've enjoyed this so much. Jerry is a sweetheart, and I'm glad we got to see him visit the folks in Astoria--the Costanza house. They are such a nice couple.

Ol' Jerry Stiller...he couldn't smooth a silk sheet if he had a hot date with a babe. Lost my train of thought. RIP Sir, you will be missed.
🤣🤣🤣 oh, that is such a lovely comment! The best to remember Jerry Stiller!
LOL, I laugh so hard at that part, especially when Jerry Seinfeld shakes his head in sympathy when he lost his train of thought.

I laughed when Mr. Lopipero said, "Yous wanna come in?"
“You wanna come in, or what?” It was perfectly what Frank Costanza would have said.
