Grease Kari Truck Benz 2624
Materials:
• Grease (Recommended: EP2 or equivalent)
• Grease gun
• 90-degree grease coupler
Procedure:
1. Park the truck on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate all grease fittings on the truck. These fittings are typically located on the steering, suspension, and transmission components.
3. Connect the grease gun to the 90-degree grease coupler.
4. Apply a small amount of grease to each fitting, until you see grease start to ooze out from around the seal.
5. Disconnect the grease gun and wipe away any excess grease.
Grease Komatsu 220 Line 7
Materials:
• Grease (Recommended: EP1 or equivalent)
• Grease gun
• Straight grease coupler
Procedure:
1. Park the excavator on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate all grease fittings on the excavator, including those on the boom, arm, bucket, and undercarriage.
3. Connect the grease gun to the straight grease coupler.
4. Apply a small amount of grease to each fitting, until you see grease start to ooze out from around the seal.
5. Disconnect the grease gun and wipe away any excess grease.
Additional Tips:
• Refer to the manufacturer's recommendation for the specific type and frequency of grease to use.
• Use a clean grease coupler to prevent contamination.
• Clean any dirt or debris from around the grease fittings before applying grease.
• If a grease fitting is damaged or leaking, replace it immediately.
