The more I watch this, the more I realize how hard the parents are their kids. I get it but Jonah is an adult. He NEEDS to experience trial and error in order to be successful. Being babied and kept front
Experiencing natural things as a new adult is necessary for him to survive in the world.

It's almost like the kids aren't allowed to experience trial and error, Trent and Amber want everything perfect and done right the first time .

Props to Jonah for landing a full time job. Gutsy to be a car salesman. Goes to show how he has been raised to not allow his size to deter him from achieving his goals.

Sometimes decisions are risky and can only be experienced through trial and error. Jonah is willing to take a risk. I feel he will always wonder( what if ) if he doesn't. Either way good luck.😊

Leave it to those two abusive parents to put down ANYTHING those kids try to do!!! I would have been out of that "house of horrors ", a long time ago.
I TOLD my mother what plans I had for my future and went right ahead and did it..
My mother started planning out my future and I told her I'M NOT DOING THAT, my plans were to go to nursing school, to live there to graduate with honors and than to move to Boston, get an apt and work at Mass General. And I did all those things!!!

I think he should be given a chance at this job, I mean its his first job out the door and would be good experience for him. He is very motivate and the dealership is also very accommodating, and hey car salesmen make a lot of money. I'm sure you can help him save for the lean times, but all in all give him a chance at the job. Also, you want him to have a job that he will be happy doing, not a job with just a paycheck.

It's almost as if the parents are Jealous of what their kids have done.

The babies to get them out of there cribs I needed a step stool. A co worker made fun of me saying I had T Rex's arms.

I hate to side with these awful parents on any matter, but I have to agree that's not a very practical job for Jonah. Didn't he have a part-time job with the state? A not-too-demanding (he isn't exactly a go-getter, and that's what sales, especially used car sales, requires) dull government desk job with a secure paycheck, a retirement plan, and health insurance would be the way to go. I wonder if the dealership isn't just hoping his local celebrity status will draw more customers in (which doesn't sell cars, necessarily, and he'd be dependent upon an unreliable commission for his income and job)... At any rate, isn't he over 21? Why does he need his parents' permission or approval to accept it?

Nothing wrong with parents wanting Jonah to move out...Look at how many parents raise their kids and they stay until they are like 27 or 28 yrs old..How does it look to a potential employer when they look at your resume and sees you never had a job and still live with your parents ..Do you think they will hire you ?..Parents put you though College now do what's expected of you..I moved out around age 19..after i graduated i earned my keep until i found my way..Mowed the lawn, washed the cars ,cleaned garage and anything i could do around the house to earn my keep until i found something..And not once did i not appreciate my parents help after age 18 having patience and having confidence that i would be a man and find my way to adulthood..

Damn these parents are so annoying. Right when their kids are growing up and needs them the most, they push them down!! Especially the mom. She got problems. The world's already pushing them down coz of how they look and their size and their parents, especially the mom, pushing them down to the ground instead of supporting them. I just find her bitchy with her young adult kids. She needs to stop. There's a line between being concerned and being a bully. Shes a bully to her kids. All they wanted from their parents is support if not approval. And everytime they make their kids doubt about their decisions of moving out or work, they always bring up living at home and stuff. But when theyre at home, they are still treated as kids. I think they have enslaved their kids enough for the show, building the house and many other stuff that they make their kids do to prove a point that they can do whatever but when it's their kids who wants to do what they want, they pull them back down. Theyre bullies and hypocrites to their own kids.
