Using Windows XP Home Edition and it still runs like a champ. It does lag every once and a while on somethings but hell, the motherboard was made back in 2002, and has been upgraded over the years. I ditched Internet Explorer years ago and currently using Opera; doesn't demand high memory usage neither. I'm sure it will surpass the 2014 expiration date with ease.

Me to I think xp is cool but on my main computer I use windows 10 I also have an old laptop using windows xp
To this day, I still laugh but also think how truthful this is.
Not really security updates only apply to online usage so the computer itself won’t get slower but it will be easier to get viruses. I’m a weirdo who still uses xp on my secondary computer with several hacks and patches to get new browsers and it still is an enjoyable experience

It comes in variants like 32-bit, 64-bit, Starter, Home, Professional, Server (2003), Embedded, etc. Also, it has many fun games; not all of them made it into Windows 7, and even fewer made it into Windows 10; not only Windows XP has more fun games, but it also has older graphics in these games, which are much better.
And NFS11SE. I miss that game.

1. Install Mypal
2. Use a kernel extender
3. Install the lastest drivers compatible with XP
4. Install the lastest version of Office compatible with XP
5. Install IE 8 (if you are using a kernel extender, install versions beyond IE 8)
6. Install Firefox ESR, SeaMonkey and Pale Moon, If you are having trouble using Mypal, Just switch to another browser on the list.
7. Put a modern wallpaper if you are tired of Bliss. (If you are tired of the modern wallpaper switch back to Bliss)
8. Use a program do repair XP's time servers so you can use Chrome.
9. If you tired of the Luna theme, use Zune.
10. Install your childhood games. that it can't run on your computer that uses Windows beyond XP.

My parents used their first computer (which was running on Windows XP) way up until 2019, when they upgraded to Windows 7. Just a few months later it was upgraded to Windows 10, where the mobo immediately got deep fried and we couldn't save all the stuff from it.
I was born when Windows XP was nearly released! Good old times... :) there's tons of Windows versions ahead that will going be released.. And XP was my beginning point.. Good old times.

using Windows XP in 2023 is now more safer than ever because Windows XP is so old that almost nobody makes a viruses that work for it anymore because all the newer viruses are too high tech and all the older viruses are so common that they're easily detectable by modern window systems so they're not really used as much so right now is the best time to use an obsolete OS like Windows XP
That's not how that works. Apparently this applies to windows 95 though for some reason. Probably has something to do with the fact that it's based on MS-DOS and not the Windows NT kernel.
