You touch on this in many of your run videos but could you do a video on how run form changes with speed? I'm trying to move my foot strike to a more forward position but this seems to be more effort at slower speeds and i seem to have more of a shuffle on my long steady runs. I think my form is better when I'm running faster but I can't sustain those higher speeds for long. Are there specific speeds you need for optimum form? Thanks and Happy new year!
I second this! Would love a video on form, how it changes with speed and fatigue, and what are the most important parts of form. I just watched a video by these guys saying heel striking isn’t as bad as we are led to believe (or something like that, don’t come at me). So now I’m just questioning everything lol.
Another tip: Running is very tough on your body, you can build milage with other activities such as xc-skiing or cycling. This makes the long run easier.
Solid tips love this channel great information about the sport of running also the run walk strategy WORKS try it over time you will improve here's to 2022
Just started Garmin Coach 10k plan. Part of my aim to go from try a tri last summer to do an olympic at summer's end this year. Does this count as long run?
I‘m going to race a Olympic distance this year. It starts at 1PM. What should I eat before ? A big lunch is not the way to go, I think. Is pasta for breakfast an option? And yes I do like pasta for breakfast. Or do you have any recommendations? Thanks for your great videos!
I've done pasta for breakfast before a race. If that works for you, go for it. XX makes a great point about not being too full before so if you go with pasta, make sure to allow sufficient time to digest and have something smaller closer to race start.
“You clicked on this video because you want to run further” Me shudders just thinking running more than a marathon. No I just watch everything you put out lol
What do you guys think about going low carb for endurance a la prof Tim Noakes? Interesting what Bruce Fordyce has to say about what his Comrades running may have been like if he'd been fuelled by fat ..

I have tried the Garmin coach a couple of times but always gave up as it didn't (couldn't?) take account of my recovery needs as an older runner.
where was this one filmed?

Can't beat porrage with some bannans and toast. Plenty if carbs
11. Get lost. When you suddenly don't know where you are, you might end up running a long way just to get home.
That's one way to stay motivated
