    Not a fan of Polaris after owning a few, but glad you’re showing all the brands and their ups and downs.

    Agree, I currently own a 23 Outty 1000 xmr that has given me some issues in the past year, however my buddy's Highlilfter hasn't gave him any issues in the past two years, and we do lots of mud and rocky trails, machine is built like a tank

    Shocks travel is miserable. 3 inch is no travel at all. Does it ride as well as BRP on bumpy roads? 1000 highlifter is selling 25% cheaper than BRP XMR 700 over here. Just a tiny bit more expensive than the top Chinese brands. There must be a reason for that. There's a saying in my country that goes like: mother and father did a lousy job, if their son is riding a Polaris. Never had one, but my friends sold their machines long ago and never came back.

      Stock the highlifter edition rides terrible. We are putting this one on normal 1000 shocks. Video on that coming soon

    Diffs suck. . Transmission are weak . Motor isn’t reliable . Bushings go out in under 100hrs .

      Only thing I can agree with is maybe the transmission. If it didn’t have reverse chains it would be great

      I didn't say it was the most reliable. I said it was the most hardcore... Video on all that other stuff coming soon LOL

      Almost traded in my Rubicon years back for the 850HL. But when my friends purchased their highlifters, new I heard about them tearing up allot and they aren't hardcore riders. I'm going on 6 yrs with my 2018 rubi, and I've done routine maintenance and brake pads and I'm about to do new wheel bearings for the first time since new. I don't ride to hard but man the honda has been good to me. Hopefully Your friend doesn't run into the same thing.

    Cant wait to see what you do for snorkel risers. Wanna raise mine on my 850 HL. Absolutely love this machine. Gonna do the 1k bumper and add a winch soon

    So comparing a canam XT 850
    Vs XMR 850 .. the gearing and clutching is the exact same ?
    I’m looking to possibly buy HL 850 , XMR 850 or XMR 700

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  4 місяці тому

      The low-range gear is the same. The clutching is mostly the same, not sure about high range

      @@MudPuppyOffroad that’s kinda freaky goofy and makes no sense. I’d almost rather get a xt 1000 and build it .

      @@Rescuetech16 yeah, can am marketing is real sheisty. I've been making videos about these ratios for years and people still argue with me that the XMR has lower gears despite the part numbers saying otherwise LOL

      @@MudPuppyOffroad 😂 it’s pretty hard to argue parts. I guess that could explain why I see so many clutches and belts exploding of canam Facebook pages .
