They make hooded hiking shirts that are super light weight and moisture wicking. Fisherman also wear them. This is what you need Chad!

Once again Chad showing us a great lesson in life. Unlike the bride that gets upset that the dog knocked over the wedding cake, Chad takes it in stride and recognizes the cake is not what the wedding is about. And he relishes it (within reason of course - man that's a lot of skating).

This trip is awesome and I’m glad you were okay during the bus incident. My wife and I did a bicycle tour from WI to AZ back in 2016. I miss that trip a lot and all of the amazing things we got to see at a pace similar to yours. We took it slow compared to most cyclists. We also ran into some issues with gravel roads and eventually would zoom in to google maps to see if we could see the painted lines on paved roads before picking our routes which saved us some headaches. Hope the next few days are comfortable, less windy, and smooth for you. Stay safe and thanks for sharing the journey!
Dude, it seems like you were in El Paso, TX during this video. If you were, the winds here are crazy February through April. They knock down utility poles and rip off roofs. Stay safe!

You might want to find a windbreaker that's super thin! You can roll those things up really small, and put it in your back pocket. Some of them even come with a little bag you can put on your belt loop!

2.) Wider brim hat like a bucket or boonie hat
3.) Cycling or running jacket or similar to break the wind, keep you warm, but lightweight

Hey dude lifeguard in south Florida here, I recommend any UV shirt with a hood, should easily find something in Walmart. Nice and light when it gets hot but let’s in a cool breeze. Best of luck! Love following the journey
